    Payroll Team Lead

    Job Description
    THE JOB AT A GLANCE:

    • You will play a key role within the payroll team by assuming responsibility across different business units payroll.  This includes all associated activities  in order to deliver a value adding, cost effective and customer focused payroll service to the business that fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Review Wage Payroll reports before submission to Payroll Co-ordinator and Finance Management for approval. You will be responsible for data cross-checking of Payroll administrators' data processing.

    Responsibilities

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Responsible for payroll reports to various stakeholders. Supporting all internal reporting requirements for approvals of payrolls
    • Assist with continual improvement and standardization of all payroll operations and systems
    • Check payroll information and calculations for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order.
    • Check for accurate processing of employee entitlements and statutory deductions e.g. tax, pension, medical aid contributions etc
    • Provide regular coaching and support to team members when required

    Development Manager

    • The Development Manager is accountable to plan and manage the delivery of all services and functionality related to systems development (coding) in both a project (“build”) and operational (“run”) context for the technologies that support the Tiger Brands application set. The role leads a team of Information Analysts and Developers who design, develop, test and document all changes to all IT applications considering usability, performance, scalability and stability in the IT environment. This role is also responsible for the release management of service changes for the in scope applications. Development encompasses coding work related to projects, enhancements and bug fixes.

    Responsibilities

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Support Applications Director by ensuring that applications and systems integrity is maintained during development and deployment of enhancements resulting from operational support
    • Manage and maintain the operational release plans
    • Responsible to manage the work backlog of bugs, incidents, change requests and enhancements related to all Oracle ERP and non Oracle applications as assigned
    • Lead, develop and manage the Developers (Oracle and non Oracle) creating a culture of high performance, continuous optimisation, cost effectiveness and team performance

    Enterprise Development Specialist

    Job Description
    THE JOB AT A GLANCE:

    • The Enterprise Specialist will manage the implementation of the Preferential Procurement Set-aside, and Entrepreneurship Development programmes of the company’s ED programme.     • Assist with the evolution of the organisation’s ESD strategy
    • Manage and execute all ESD related activities and initiatives
    • Coordinate the annual assessment process, quarterly reporting and ongoing Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) for ESD projects

    • Manage the implementation of the Community Enterprise Development (CED) initiatives, including liaising and collaborating with SED team to unlock CED funding, liaise with procurement to unlock procurement opportunities for black communities benefiting from CED
    • Management of ESD verification process, this includes collection of evidence from all strategic partners and from beneficiaries and liaising with the BEE verification agency.
    • Management of ESD public relations projects and liaising with Corporate Communications divisions on implementation of ESD PR plans
    • Contribute to the ESD Report to EXCO and Social, Ethics and Transformation Committee
    • Act as the primary liaison between Tiger Brands and ESD implementing service providers for ESD projects and manage all ESD Service Providers and Strategic Partners Agreements.

    Lead Internal Auditor
