    Contact Center Executive (Fixed Term Contract)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Handle incoming phone calls
    • Resolve standard customers’ requests and route issues that require follow-up to customer service, commercial and operational teams
    • Communicates customer inquiries/messages/feedback to relevant team members
    • Tracking of customer or branch parcels
    • Taking collections
    • Pulling hardcopy POD’s
    • Faxing, calling and/or e-mailing to clients or branches
    • Sending invoices with POD’s to various branches
    • Advising customers of services and general information regarding operational procedures
    • Being able to fully understand and take quotes
    • Arrange special trips
    • Courtesy calls to customers – Late freight and/or customer update
    • Provide satisfactory service to customers
    • Typical Queries - Track & Trace, bad address shipments, copy proof of deliveries and verbal delivery details

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum requirement is a Matric (Grade 12)
    • 1 years call centre experience
    • Industry knowledge and international experience advantageous

    Talent Resourcer

    Purpose of the Job

    • The purpose of this position is to assess the organization’s staffing needs, manage an end-to-end recruitment process and drive our employee value proposition initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the entire recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening, interviews, and assessments to ensure we bring in the best talent matching the job requirements.
    • Partner with the Talent Acquisition manager and hiring managers to identify company staffing needs and plan accordingly
    • Manage the talent acquisition processes across, in line with our strategies, enabling operational efficiencies in recruitment delivery
    • Work closely with the TA manager, HRBP and hiring managers to address key recruitment challenges and work towards new solutions and recruitment initiatives such as open-days and in-house job fairs.
    • Ensure our brand presence across multiple professional networking websites to attract the best talent.
    • Manage the entire recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening ,  interviews, and assessments to ensure we bring in the best talent matching the job requirements.
    • Create new talent acquisition tools  to ensure the candidate is assessed efficiently in line with the position’s specific requirements.
    • Participate in multiple job fairs to develop our brand presence and employee value proposition in the market.
    • Pay close attention to trends to be able to help forecast both the quarterly and annual hiring needs.
    • Create long lasting relationships and maintain a high level of candidate experience with both potential candidates and previous applicants to keep them warm for any vacancies that might come up in the future.

    Minimum requirements

    • Minimum 2-5 years of recruiting experience working in an in-house or agency.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields.
    • Excellent English skills both written and oral skills.

    • Must have experience with online sourcing platforms i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter

    Port Controller

    Key Responsibilities

    • On time collections by your couriers
    • Recheck the sorting of the teams shipments
    • Hand all shipments, corresponding run-sheets and scanners to the ground couriers in the team
    • Ensure couriers leave the station on time
    • Leave after the last agents have returned and full debrief has occurred
    • Meeting of service levels on delivery side
    • All relevant documentation and the speedy follow up of outstanding documentation such as POD's, invoices, delivery and collection sheets, vehicle checklist etc.
    • Follow up of all outstanding queries
    • Security of cargo, personnel and vehicles
    • Debrief of returns/undels
    • Waybill to Collection Link for Outlying Agents

    Collections

    • Assign / Dispatch collections to Agents.
    • Debrief of all outstanding collection sheets as per procedure.
    • Check on daily collections
    • Follow up immediately on any problems that may cause a problem when collections must be done, e.g. staff shortage, equipment, and size of vehicle. (Route Management)
    • Communication with Senior Supervisor / Account Manager on any problems
    • Confirmation report to be done prior to couriers returning back to base (Roll Call)
    • Quality control of all incoming cargo, check w/bills for dims, client details, account numbers, special instructions etc.
    • Scanning in of collections as per procedure (Scan per line, check delivery address for branch collections)
    • Report on collection stats daily to Senior Supervisor.
    • You will be requested to help with the correct recording of weight and dimensions of all the cargo that was collected

    Deliveries

    • Ensure that service levels have been met and deliveries have arrived on time. A special instruction overrides any service marked on a waybill.
    • Notify the Senior Supervisor of any late deliveries and reason for such delivery
    • Check to ensure that all Pods’ are received back and correspond with run-sheet.
    • Any cargo not delivered to be scanned back into base and the Senior Supervisor advised of this and reason why a delivery was not made. (Debrief)
    • Report any damages and endorsements of w/bills to the Senior Supervisor.
    • Debrief of delivery sheets as per procedure.

    Agents

    • Monitor timekeeping of agents and notify Supervisor of late arrivals, late departures.
    • Monitor the personal appearance of your staff.
    • Anomolies, bad behaviour, suspicious behaviour of agents to be reported to the senior supervisor / Operations Manager

    Security

    • Ensuring that all cargo dispatched is accounted for and are scanned out. (Crosscheck)
    • Ensure agents vehicles all have pad-locks where required.
    • Notify the Senior Supervisor of any big, high value, or dangerous routes that needs to be covered by extra security.
    • Not leaving the base at night until all undels are accounted for.
    • Responsible for the following areas: Shortages; Damaged consignments; Problem deliveries / missed collections; Bad addresses & Missing documentation.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric (Grade 12) or similar qualification and/or experience
    • Minimum of a valid Code 08 Driver’s license. Valid Code 10 Driver’s license and a valid Public Driver’s Permit (PDP) will be advantageous.
    • 3 years’ experience as a ground courier
    • MS Office applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
    • Must have at least 1-years’ experience in the Logistics Industry
    • Local knowledge of areas and neighbourhood
    • Computer proficiency
