    Marketing Manager - Pietermaritzburg

    • The Marketing department requires a dynamic, creative and agile Marketing Manager to lead a diverse team. These comms extend to all brands that fall under the mother brand, Belgotex. We are looking for someone who can build partnerships, leverage technology, implement a Marketing strategy and lead a Marketing Team. 

    KEY REPONSIBILITIES:

    • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.
    • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis.
    • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website that attracts and converts our target groups.
    • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors to executive the Marketing needs of the business.
    • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely.
    • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies.
    • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
    • Research and implement best practice strategies, approaches and policies for Marketing.
    • Analyse consumer behaviour and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.
    • Managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity.
    • Developing strategies and tactics to boost the company’s reputation and drive traffic to the company website.
    • Deploying successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution
    • Gathers and analyzes information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.
    • Provide strategic insight to develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
    • Motivate, lead and provide support to a diverse Marketing and Sampling teams.
    • Accountable for the sampling process and strategy for the business.
    • Oversee and support the Sampling Coordinator to successful fulfill the sampling strategy/process to meet the needs of suppliers and customers.
    • Track and present the overall progress of Marketing and Sample deliverables/output/ROI to the Executive/management Team.

    Requirements

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Degree/Diploma in Marketing or equivalent.
    • At least 5 years previous experience in within a Marketing role.
    • Experience in managing multiple projects at one time.
    • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

    Export Controller - Pietermaritzburg

    Description

    • The Export controller is the interface between our organization and our clients in the export market. The Export Controller ensures correct paperwork is in place for shipments and their exporters so that the customer receive the product on time and in full. To fulfill the Export customer’s order, they must carry out all customer service activities such as resolving problems, responding to inquiries, and handling complaints, issues, and concerns, in a prompt, courteous and effective manner. Your purpose is to minimize the friction between clients and production, making dealing with our company effortless for clients.
    • To be successful in this role you will need to be meticulous, have a good attitude and drive for customer satisfaction. You should also have a mindset to deliver all areas of the job on time and in full.

    SPAN OF CONTROL

    • This position will form part of the Exports Team and will report into the Head of Exports.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & OUTPUTS

    • An Export Controller will receive and collate customer export paperwork on D365.
    • Export Controller is responsible for the allocation of stock to bookings and processing shipments in accordance with SOP.
    • Work of the sales ticket automation program timeously, but also with good Business etiquette.
    • Work towards and maintain the time expectancy on all tickets
    • Must be familiar with custom procedures for the different countries and be able to work with appointed routed agents and company operated services. (Air, Sea, and Road Transport)
    • Accepts and enters orders from faxed or emailed documentation and process the orders in ERP
    • Verifies and monitors schedule to ensure all orders have been scheduled correctly and the schedule changes do not impact the customer.
    • Verifies product availability on all orders and communicates product shortages to customer.
    • Liaise with planning regarding out-of-stock items.
    • Selling of discontinued stock, strike your deal, waste accounts and parcel orders
    • Coordinates special requests with traffic and operations, expediting order as needed.
    • Traces orders as required and notify customers of any activity concerning account.
    • Constant communication with internal departments e.g. Planning
    • Ensure all required documentation is maintained and that filing is up to date
    • Problem resolution and constant and timeous customer feedback to ensure the needs of the customer are satisfied.
    • Receiving and processing customer complaints on the Replacement Procedure document for the Quality department
    • Participate in short daily WIP meetings 2. Create and close cases in CRM or appropriate ERP solution 3. Enter details into CRM 4. Generate case or order acknowledgement.
    • Export Controller will own all cases and will project manage them by gathering the required information to be able to complete the case.
    • Export Controller will not relinquish responsibility of cases to Export Project Co Ordinator. They will investigate the answer and if no resolution is found, they will escalate cases to Export Project Co Ordinator by creating tasks against the case they own.

    Requirements
    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Exports Controller role or similar is required.
    • Must have knowledge of the different country’s requirements in terms of documentation.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, D365 ERP is essential
    • Must be flexible in terms of working hours (lunch breaks or staying late to accommodate shipping deadlines), think outside of the box.
    • Proven track record in achieving monthly targets.

    Specifications Business Developer - JHB North

    The Specifications Business Developer is the sales front-line. This person is responsible for a considerable proportion of revenue — AND for a considerable proportion of the organization’s growth. This is an exciting role.     SPAN OF CONTROL

    • Sell B_ portfolio of commercial soft flooring and sport surface solutions to architects, designers, builders, and end-users in the commercial, retail, hospitality, sports facility, and large residential project industries (just to name a few).  Most often, these people have an identified need and will be looking for guidance on the best floor covering based on specifications and budget from Belgotex’s extensive product range of flooring solutions.
    •  Your end goal will be to get Belgotex specified in the tender brief or substituted by the builder at time of installation.
    • Where projects do not go through a tender process your goal will be to engage with project stakeholders aiming to secure Belgotex products for the project via specification.
    • You will be required to work closely with a dedicated marketing and research team that will give you a steady supply of project leads and an efficient customer service team who will handle quoting, orders, and post-delivery logistic questions on your behalf.
    • Monitor the progress of each project and keep stakeholders (internal and external) informed throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Attend Ongoing product training.
    • Ensure that You do not pursue short-term sales results at the expense of longer-term client relationships.
    •  Strive to maintain relationships with other team members and ensure that this is productive and free from conflict.
    • You are required to record all client contact in real time on CRM.
    • In addition to promotional activities, you will also be required to: Participate in short daily WIP meeting.
    • In your area of expertise in either a market segment or product category, you will be called on as a subject matter expert into Engineering to have input into new product development, recoloring of ranges and new product categories into the business. 

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12 / passed Matric with mathematics or math’s literacy and English. 
    • At least 3-5 years relevant sales experience in a similar role within a relevant industry is essential. 

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Commercial flooring experience 3-5 years essential and the nous to quickly pick up our product portfolio.
    • Be able to articulate products and services to perfection.
    • You must be comfortable with a lot of things going on at any one time and able to communicate with a wide variety of people.
    • Experience working in a CRM system is essential.
    • Excellent time management skills in order to execute our daily tasks.
