    Manager: SC Support Services (Gauteng - Rosebank)

    Description

    Strategic management

    • Contribute to the organizational strategy by understanding the key strategic drivers and direction and providing input into the strategy annually.
    • Develop the departmental strategy by understanding the business strategy and developing the strategy, presenting and securing approval annually.
    • Departmental / operational planning and management
    • Develop the departmental operations plan by understanding the strategy, developing the plan including all projects and key performance measures and submitting plans for approval annually and as required.

    • Technical management
    • Manage and lead Cross Border execution by planning and coordinating orders in real-time alignment with customer demand, implement work instructions and processes, handling transport invoice administration, providing support on transport invoice enquiries and managing adherence to systems and processes as required.
    • Support inventory management and governance by conducting End-to-End Final Product Monthly Inventory Reconciliations for Enaex Africa sites, issuing timely month-end cut-off reports and managing virtual plant final product invoicing, reconciliation, and financial reporting, while maintaining transportation permits and relevant Supply Chain data on SAP, monthly and as required.
    • Support optimization of Cross Border activities by analysing transportation health check reports, identifying trends, opportunities, risks and proposing corrective actions, reporting on slow-moving product and replenishment requirements for imported materials, reporting on outstanding incidents or customer complaints and identifying key risks such as overcharging, inaccurate contract rate schedules or inconsistent data on SAP, monthly and as required.
    • Support the business by providing first-line support on the SAP Transport Module, serving as the first-line SAP Super User Support for end-users, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), offering site back-up support, conducting SLA meetings with third party logistics (3PLs), addressing auditor requests and handling intercompany account queries, as required.
    • Budget and financial management
    • Develop budgets by understanding operational requirements, drafting budget and submitting for approval annually and as required.
    • Manage expenditure by tracking spend against budget, reviewing and approving costs, identifying areas of under- or over-spend and implementing corrective action monthly and as required.
    • Risk management         
    • Manage security and disaster recovery of departmental information by reviewing measures in place, identifying risks and implementing mitigating measures as required.
    • Manage departmental risk by developing the departmental risk management framework, overseeing the population and maintenance of the framework, reviewing risk management strategies, identifying areas for improvement and driving implementation quarterly and as required.
    • SHE management
    • Manage that SHE is implemented by managing that SHE training is provided, implementation is completed and noncompliance is addressed as required.
    • Manage that SHE is monitored by defining monitoring requirements and standards, managing completion of monitoring and managing that issues are resolved within deadlines.
    • Manage that SHE requirements are complied with by managing review of SHE practices, identifying noncompliance and addressing within deadlines.
    • Stakeholder management (including internal, external, client and service provider)
    • Manage stakeholder relationships by liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, providing input and feedback actions, receiving feedback and contributions and collaborating as required.
    • Engage with industry stakeholders by identifying key points of impact and discussion, representing the organization and providing input into industry related initiatives and imperatives, supporting industry related initiatives and addressing any industry related concerns or challenges as required.
    • Manage service providers by defining and negotiating service levels required and monitoring and managing delivery against standards, identifying areas of concern and implementing corrective action monthly and as required.
    • People management

    Requirements

    Senior Contracting Specialist (Gauteng)

    Description

    • Enable benefits/value release through the delivery of a water-tight and cost-effective contracting capability.

    Artisan - Millwright (North West)

    Description

    • Faultfinding on Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic/Pneumatic and instrumentation systems.
    • Repair electrical, mechanical pneumatic/hydraulic breakdowns on equipment i.e. (hid systems, mono pumps, level transmitters, screw conveyors and limited diesel mechanic work).
    • Preventative maintenance on production equipment i.e. (hid systems, mono pumps, level transmitters, screw conveyors and limited diesel mechanic work).
    • Get service documentation (job cards) signed off and records are sent to supervisor.
    • Do yearly earth resistance tests on plant and magazines.

    • Identification of defects, reporting to foreman, do job cards to address defects.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 with Maths and Science.
    • Qualified red seal Millwright / Electro-mechanic.

    Explosive Operator (Mpumalanga - Leeuwpan)

    Description
    FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS:

    • Comply with all Customer rules and procedures when operating at Customer sites
    • Assist the Explosives Controller to conduct routine fault finding, trouble shooting, maintenance and repairs on the MMU process plant and chassis
    • Assist the Site Administrator with stock control
    • Load and unload the MMU with the correct raw materials
    • Unload raw materials (emulsion Matrix and Expan tankers)
    • Cleaning and decontamination of MMU.
    • Identification of any abnormal conditions on the MMU and within the work area and reporting thereof to the Explosives Controller and/or Site Supervisor
    • Maintain ownership of bulk explosives MMU by conducting good housekeeping of the cab, chassis and plant.
    • Minimize and clean up any raw material spillage and dispose of any spillage in the correct waste streams
    • Ensure correct PPE is used ; is in good condition and is correctly worn at all times.

    Requirements

    • Blasting or Rock Breaker Certificate – Open Cast.
