Job Description
- This role will report to the Finance Manager within the Cluster Consolidation Team in Old Mutual Wealth’s Finance team. It requires an individual with a passion for financial management, driving reporting timelines of financial results and execution on the business plan, while managing governance and compliance at an operational level. This position is individually accountable for achieving results through others, over periods of three months to one year.
Key responsibilities will include amongst others the following:
- Providing insights into accounting policies and technical opinions.
- Supporting the Finance Manager on the delivery of consolidated reporting requirements, audit management, tax management as well as governance and compliance.
- Preparing tax workings and returns in line with Group Tax and statutory requirements.
- Liaising and coordinating with the Old Mutual Group Tax Team and subsidiary companies for the compilation and timely submission of tax returns and information.
- Generating internal management reports.
- Develops, reports on, and interprets cost drivers, KPIs and benchmarks.

- Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
Insights and Reporting
- Extract and combine data to generate standard reports.
