    Fresh Food Field Specialist

    Purpose of Job

    • Ascertain that the franchisee increases profitability and secure adherence to food safety requirements.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Handle and improve operation sites of fresh food.
    • Roll out bakery and food planograms to stores.
    • Enhance operating procedures on an on-going basis or improve operational efficiency at the site level if required.
    • Follow call cycle procedures, capture activities, and email concerns to relevant parties.
    • Execute programmes developed by other functions to secure that Sasol Group achieves its leadership target in the market.

    Purpose of Job

    • The Snr Architect Enterprise Architecture (ERP) is accountable for defining, communicating and steering Sasol’s ERP and related technology (e.g. ERP,CRM,SCM,Financial Management,etc.) domain ambitions and plans through technology visions, principles, roadmaps, transition states and associated guardrails (e.g. international and technology standards) for the delivery teams.
    • The Snr Architect Enterprise Architecture (ERPdrives deep collaboration on the Portfolio level with the Principal Specialist Solution Architects through regular structured engagements (monthly meetings, one-to-one alignment sessions, etc.) and ad-hoc discussions. Together with the Principal Specialist Solution Architects across the Product Portfolios ensure the design of pragmatic and clear guardrails across Sasol, and drive the optimisation of ERP and related solutions and costs.     Purpose of Job

    • The Sasol Snr Architect Enterprise Architecture (Manufacturing Technology) forms part of a core team that drives the visioning, architectural design, value definition and transformation planning through leveraging digital and other technologies.

    Key Accountabilities

    • As a Manufacturing Technology Architect, you will be responsible for transforming manufacturing execution systems and platforms that enable plant value streams such as lab operations, process development, process control, industrial IT, manage maintenance & integrity, manage quality, manage production, manage SHE, manage exploration, manage logistics, Retail systems and interfaces into OT environment.
    • The Manufacturing Technology Architect will work with MES, IIT and OT systems that span across Secunda plant operations, Mining operations, Sasolburg plant operations, ROAS operations, Mozambique plant operations and London operations.
    • The Manufacturing Technology Architect is also leading and orchestrating the effort of scanning the market for technology driven innovation opportunities and communicating their realistic business value expectations to business and IM leaders.  The Manufacturing Technology Architect is a crucial enabler that will drive balance between enabling high velocity and innovation for relatively autonomous Product Teams, while at the same time protecting the integrity and end-to-end strategy of Sasol’s technology landscape.
    • The Manufacturing Technology Architect drives deep collaboration on the Portfolio level with the Operations Portfolio & Product Delivery team, through regular one-to-one alignment sessions, Architecture Forums, ad-hoc discussions and Solution Architecture Chapter meetings. Together with Senior Solution Architects across the Portfolio & Product Delivery team they ensure the design of pragmatic and clear guardrails across Sasol and find ways to optimise Information Technology costs.     • With regards to subject matter, the Manufacturing Technology Architect is responsible for driving sustainable and long-term value-increasing architectural principles, approaches and patterns, such as building modular but fluently integrated solutions from loosely coupled components backed up by solid data management.     Maintenance Assistant Gr 1 Mechanical

    Purpose of Job

    • To support with the maintenance of mechanical / electro-mechanical / electro-mechanical systems and equipment. To operate mechanical / electro-mechanical devices and systems, and accurately and efficiently collect field data to ensure optimum productivity.

    Shift Superintendent

    PURPOSE OF JOB ROLE INTENT

    • Provide the leadership required to create high performance teams - capable of reaching all their targets, as well as to do the coaching required for the teams to function successfully without supervision. Execute the statutory duties according to Regulation 2.14.1

    CORE ELEMENTS OF JOB AND KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

    Manage and carry out tactical strategies on a day-to-day basis that ensure that departments KPl's are met (for example meters blasted, road construction, back area support

    • Availability of Equipment Downtime/ shift/ MTTF /MTTR (infrastructure and in-section equipment)
    • Adherence to Overhaul / maintenance program - plan vs. actual

    Implements operational projects, ensures operating compliance, develops and implements engineering Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in appointed area of responsibility

    OPERATING ENVIRONMENT

    • This position has a 2.14.1 legal appointment and is accountable for managing the operational solutions and governance within the area of appointment at a mine within a highly regulated industry
    • Remote locations, Equipment and infrastructure are underground and may be located over a wide area, the availability must be managed to ensure production targets are met
    • Complex interfaces with contractors and suppliers also exits
    • Information from various sources needs to be analyzed, interpreted and integrated to make trade-off decisions in the best interest of the area of responsibility

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Grade 12 or N3 or NCV Level 4 with Maths and Science
    •  Certificate in Blasting, Gas Testing, Competent A
    • Valid Red Ticket (or ability to obtain one)
    • Drivers licence

    AND

    • Mine Overseer Certificate of Competence for Fiery Mines
    • Minimum 5 years total relevant Mining Experience/ Production / Production Services experience in Mining
    • Industry

    • 8 Eng/ BSc Eng with 12 months' work experience as Shiftboss during the Candidate Engineer time period with a Mine Overseer Certificate of Competence

    Purpose of Job

    • To support production by providing effective electro-mechanical equipment maintenance and reliability while adhering to procedures/codes, and utilising all available support resources to increase stability and maintain sustainability of the plant, mine and/or equipment.

    • Proven competence in pre-identified areas per discipline of the plant/mine/equipment/systems
