    Plant Operator - Umbogintwini

    Job Description:

    • Manufacture products in respective production units.
    • Monitor production closely and keep accurate and concise information flowing within all stakeholders throughout the shift.
    • Provide shift handover precisely ate the end of each shift.
    • Create and sign-off permit to works.
    • Be safety cautious and vigilant. Ensure to follow Zero harm Strategy and ensure ZERO-IN prior to commencement of any task.
    • Ensure the effective communication between all stakeholders throughout the shift.
    • Ensure appropriate documentation is available for batch start up e.g.: works order, process
    • Dip storage takes as and when required.
    • Maintain good housekeeping standards on the plant and ensure to report unsafe/deviations timeously. 

    Qualifications & Experience::

    • Grade 12.
    • Minimum 1/2 years’ experience in a chemical plant.
    • Minimum qualification ,NQF3 or Chemical Eng. Dip.

    Reagent Operator - Modikwa Platinum

    Job Description:

    • Reagents quality control.
    • Reagents flowrate measurements.
    • Offloading of reagents.
    • Safety inspections.
    • Sampling.
    • Reagents stock taking.
    • Data capturing.
    • Operate and be in charge of reagent equipment.
    • Reporting deviations outside of process parameter immediately to Supervisor.

    Shipping Administrator

    Job Description:

    • Receiving new orders from sales team and arranging shipping
    • Obtaining and Negotiating rates with service providers and clearing and forwarding agents
    • Prepare and provide documents to customers in accordance with the Incoterm & terms of shipment standard operating procedures
    • Arranging for bookings and Compiling export documentation
    • Maintain consistent and accurate communication with the sales teams, customer services and customers
    • Ensure compliance with all export regulations and legislation, including hazardous goods
    • Process all invoicing, generate billing
    • Maintain shipping information on the system and shipping register

    • General administration and filing.

    Process Controller -Umbogintwini

    Job Description:

    • Handover shift by communicating the details of the past shift from incoming operator, ensuring that all information on problem areas are conveyed to operator and Shift leader.
    • Create and close Permit to Work (Clearances) timeously.
    • Ensure to keep appropriate documentation for all production e.g.: works orders, process log and manufacturing manual.
    • Ensure Effective communication of process conditions and keep Team Leader up to date and comprehensively complete the shift log at end of shift.
    • Communicate in an accurate, concise, clear and prompt manner.
    • Communicate accurate and concise information to all stake holders i.e. Laboratory, Engineering, Planning, Warehouse and Customer Care.
    • Ensure close monitoring of reactions and effectively respond to abnormal process conditions.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and ZERO HARM strategy whilst applying lean manufacturing principles.
    • Monitor plant and equipment concisely and report any abnormalities timeously.
    • Dip tanks as and when required and during stock takes.
    • Perform various production calculations.
    • Ensure that all safety standards are maintained and report any deviations.
    • Conduct necessary equipment safety checks through the PMS system.
    • Rectify and report safety hazards promptly.
    • Assist on investigations.
    • Maintain good housekeeping standards on the plant.
    • Ensure Effective communication within the production team.
    • Assist in the Training of Junior operators and students.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Grade 12.
    • Minimum 2/3 years’ experience in a chemical plant.
    • Minimum qualification, NQF3 or Chemical Eng. Dip.

    Accounts Receivable Administrator

    Job Description:

    • Accounts receivable processing: Daily processing of all debtors incoming receipts and clearing of all customer accounts, request remittance advice to reconcile unapplied payments, verify tax exemptions, request WHT certificates and initiate journal vouchers
    • Debt collection: Compile AR age analysis report and update daily commentary. Follow up on unpaid or short paid accounts and ensure full payment is received, overdue escalated and make sure they are resolved within SLA, Escalate and address outstanding debt issues to AR Manager and Business, as per customer management process.
    • Credit control: Perform credit application function, annual credit limits reviews, credit adjustments, credit limit monitoring, notify customer/relevant parties when customer credit limit is about to be reached.
    • Reporting: Update and provide daily commentary on overdue debtors, Daily confirmation, Actual vs. Confirmations, Subsequent receipts, Compile age analysis.
    • Dispute and query resolution: Ensure to resolve customer disputes/queries within SLA, Escalate unresolvable disputes/queries to business manager, and communicate outcomes of disputes/queries to all relevant parties.
    • Business controls and governance: Comply with AR policies and procedures, Comply with SLA criteria (specific to area of responsibility).
    • Regularly meet with Customer and Regional Managers from different departments to discuss overdue debtors
    • Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards
    • Ensure open communication channels to staff and implement change management interventions where necessary

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Matric and studying towards University degree or National Diploma in Accounting or Credit Management
    • 2-3 years’ experience as Accounts Receivable administrator
    • Experience with ERP systems SAP R3
    • Intermediate skills in MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Ability to analyse and perform AR reconciliation for customer accounts
    • Good command of written English for business writing and presentation purposes
    • Knowledge of Mining and Chemicals environment
    • Understanding of company strategies regarding the improvement of Working Capital, Departmental goals, Process improvements
