    Application Development Specialist : Controlling - Woodmead

    Job Description    

    • Liaise with the Finance Community across AECI on all Finance-specific business requirements and translate these into systems via effective execution and delivery.
    • Content/Stream leadership in Financial Shared Services and corporate Finance initiatives – IP owner of the AECI Group Financial Resource Management systems and system requirements.
    • Manage change requests as the Controlling-Stream-Lead in the Systems Design Authority.
    • Manage alignment of standard/vanilla versus management of variants/developments (RICEFW Inventories).
    • Develop and track budget in ERP and Finance Systems.
    • Finance and controlling business process mapping and improvement.
    • Continuously research on best practices in SAP and other IT systems and advise the Finance Systems Managers.
    • Manage vendor contracts in the area of AMS (maintenance of ERP systems).
    • Manage vendor contracts for Large Project management and key initiatives.
    • Comply with governance & compliance policies and procedures.
    • Comply with Safety, Health and Environmental standards.
    • Establish continuous support program, monitoring improvement.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • IT or Commerce graduate or NQF equivalent.
    • SAP ERP FICO certifications (SAP K5+ or equivalent).
    • Deep technical knowledge of SAP ECC FI, CO, BW, Solution Manager.
    • Experience and certification in S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud advantageous.
    • Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology
    • Knowledge and experience with FlexGL, Parallel Ledgers, Material Ledger, Corporate Treasury, Corporate Real Estate and BPC advantageous.
    • Understanding of the integration points of the other modules within SAP ECC other components.
    • Understanding of business processes and how they are related to an ERP system.

    Production Planner Assistant - Modderfontein

    Job Description    

    • Assist the production Planner to convert the Master Production Schedule into specific achievable daily or weekly Work Orders for final and semi products.
    • Assist in the tracking of new and amended customer orders on computerised SAP system.
    • Assist in the measuring of plant performance.
    • Assist in the collection and Inspection of documentation from the Plants for material movements.
    • Assist in compiling the schedules for cycle counts.

    Qualifications & Experience

    Job Description    

    • Develop and customize the EtQ Reliance System (includes all databases).
    • Further develop configuration settings, and thereafter maintain the various databases.
    • Maintain and update security profiles and access control settings as required.
    • Streamline databases on an on-going basis.
    • Developing and thereafter maintaining and/or update the configuration of all Office Integration templates.
    • Develop new documentation databases as the need arises.
    • Develop, configure, test, and upgrade the EtQ Reliance system when new upgrades become available from EtQ, after obtaining confirmation from Management, in conjunction with EtQ consultants.
    • Provide training and support on the EtQ Reliance System to all database users.
    • Create and update an EtQ training manual for users.
    • Compile and keep up to date system spec trees for all system documents, indicating preceding and succeeding documents.
    • Internal audits - Conduct ad hoc audits on DetNet’s system processes as per process maps in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 140001.
    • Responsible for DetNet’s Document control.
    • Point of contact between Channel partners in relating to documentation.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Minimum Matric.
    • Certified training in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
    • Administration Diploma an advantage.
    • Librarian skills are an advantage.
    • In-depth knowledge of document control System or a similar quality control database.
    • 2-3 years' experience of document control.
    • Understanding and interpreting the ISO elements and accurate application in relevant categories with respect to type of document recorded and for conducting internal audits.
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Adobe Acrobat and HTML (Dreamweaver), JavaScript, SQL, MySQL
    • Competence in creating training manuals and training users in the various database applications.

    Assistant Accountant - Modderfontein

    Job Description    

    • Ensure that good corporate governance is in place.
    • Manage the full fixed assets function (EP creation to EP closure, Asset Tagging, Depreciation, Disposals, Transfers etc.)
    • Manage the full stock function (stock price variances, costing run, material costing, stock write offs, etc.)
    • Coordinate and manage the cycle counts and post variances.
    • Coordinate and manage the annual stock count and post variances.
    • Processing of all accruals, provisions & recurring journals.
    • Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations and ensure that the status of the reconciliations is kept at the required standard.
    • Responsible for all petty cash floats (ZAR and Foreign), normal company credit card and travel credit cards for employees. This includes daily reconciliations and sorting out any queries.
    • Responsible to management of company cars.
    • Responsible for weekly project reports and provide financial support to Projects team.
    • Assist with internal and external auditor requests.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Financial Accounting diploma or equivalent
    • 2 – 3 years minimum accounting experience
    • Good knowledge of accounting and procedures when performing daily duties
    • Advanced knowledge of SAPR/3
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
