    Financial Manager

    Main purpose / objective of the position:

    • Responsible for the monitoring and management of Banking departments internal controls, ensuring that controls are effective and are adhered to at all times.
    • Final review and sign off of bank reconciliation at month end. (part of trust cover) - Ensuring that there are no anomalies on the bank recons.
    • Review and managing of the unidentified items and monitoring tracking movements monthly.
    • Ensuring that each allocation is accounted for and is valid.
    • Preparing of the Trust cover analysis and Landlord shortfalls
    • Review and EAAB interest schedule
    • Ensuring that PMA interest allocation is aligned with the system and interest schedule balances with the 7529 GL account monthly
    • Performing PMA audit bi-annually and ensuring that each Landlord holding Trust account has a PMA in place and if not, ensuring that Salient terms are signed and in place
    • Liaising with Internal and External audit on Trust audits.
    • Trust account audit query management
    • Follow up on audit findings and ensuring that the required controls are in place and are working effectively
    • Co50 TB management
    • To attend to the banking departments office administration
    • Ensuring that filing and record keeping is updated accurate and easily retrievable

    Experience / Education:

    • NQF level 7 qualification
    • At least 3 years minimum experience within Finance and Admin

    Skills / Knowledge required:

    • Knowledge of Finance and Administration Legislation and regulations
    • Computer literate.

    Lease Administrator - Brits

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate lease administration for all properties owned or leased by the organization
    • Review and analyze lease agreements to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
    • Serve as the main point of contact for all landlord and tenant lease-related inquiries
    • Oversee rent and lease payment processing, including rent collection and reconciliation
    • Prepare and maintain accurate lease documentation, including lease abstracts and amendments
    • Conduct regular property inspections and maintain lease compliance reports
    • Process lease renewals and negotiate lease terms and conditions with landlords
    • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure lease agreements are valid and optimize lease contract terms
    • Coordinate with internal departments, such as accounting and finance, to ensure accurate and timely lease reporting
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in lease administration

    Skills required:

    • Typing, computer literacy (Advanced MS Office, Contract Creation & Procurement system), Nicor & SAP; Telephone skills, Administration, Organisational skills.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
    • 3 years relevant experience, directly interfacing with clients and providing general administrative support services.
    • A secretarial or PRO diploma would be a recommendation.
