    Plennegy: Junior Bookkeeper - Greytown

    Description

    • Plennegy (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1955 and is both a trading and holding company with its core business being related to agriculture and property investments.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    DEBTORS

    • Process monthly rental invoices
    • Process monthly recurring invoices
    • Calculate labour charges construction & G/Services
    • Calculate Aircraft Usage
    • Process CSV file for Printing invoices
    • Process all other Ad hoc invoicing
    • Send out monthly statements
    • Follow up on outstanding accounts
    • Provide copies of invoices, attend to all Debtors queries

    CREDITORS

    • Perform creditors recons
    • Reconcile Sundry Creditors Weekly
    • Follow up on Tax invoices for deposits paid
    • Check Creditors analysis weekly to ensure all documents are processed

    ASSETS

    • Update asset register with additions
    • Forward asset confirmation forms to custodians

    JOURNALS

    • Process monthly Journals
    • Process Shaw & Wall Journals for PMB Arch
    • Process Cenprop Journal for Old Mill property

    VAT

    • Perform VAT reconciliation monthly

    Quality of work

    Description

    Mascor is currently looking for a Service Manager to co-ordinate and direct the service department workload to maximize efficiency and productivity whilst maintaining high standards as well as to manage the technicians in an appropriate manner to maintain high customer satisfaction.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Customer service

    •  Ensure customer satisfaction is at 100% and all queries are attended to timeously.
    •  Ensure proper communication regarding jobs in progress

    •  Manage all workshop employees

     Profitability

    •  Ensure the Service Department achieves budget objectives by continual (weekly/monthly) examination of accounts, operating controls and composite figures to allow the necessary improvements and corrective action to be taken where variations occur.
    • To operate the service department efficiently which will be measured by 85 % achievement of labour utilization.
    • 100 % achievement of labour productive efficiency
    •  85 % achievement of overall labour sales efficiency
    •  Ensure accurate invoicing and job costing in the service department which will be monitored by the achievement of a labour recovery rate.
    •  To ensure premises and equipment and other assets are controlled and used effectively.
    •  Plan and allocate the technicians' work based on their skill, expertise, and experience.
    •  Monitor and boost warranty and service package sales.
    •  Manage the service schedule and warranty claims.
    •  Direct and assist technicians to ensure repairs are completed to the desired standard.
    •  Maintain service processes, policies, and guidelines and ensure that they are carried out safely.
    •  To check completed work and ensure parts and labour are fully accounted for.
    •  Maintain workshop discipline and organization, ensuring cleanliness and safety of the working environment.
    •  Communicate with the Branch/Sales Manager on a regular basis to review workshop performance and address any specific issues.
    •  Co-ordinate with the Branch/Sales Manager over the training needs and experience of the workshop team, and delegate tasks to match these needs.
    •  Responsibility for the special tool inventory and recommendation of the purchase of new tools if necessary
    •  To maintain effective control of expenses in line with budget objectives by monthly examination of management accounts.
    •  Minimize ongoing work in progress on a daily basis, with a preference for tasks that have not been in progress for more than 30 days.

    Requirements

     Qualifications:

    • Min: Grade 12 / N2 & Job-related Trade certificate
    •  Ideal: Grade 12 / N2 & Job-related Trade certificate

     Experience:

    • 5 – 7 Year’s experience as a Service Technician.
    •  2 years experience in a similar role.

    Jupidex: Sales Representative

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Development and execution of Sales Budget for the allocated area

    • Do an in-depth analysis of agricultural activities and determine equipment requirements in conjunction with the Product Specification Committee.
    • Develop an annual per-country sales budget focusing on key products.
    • Develop a per-country sales plan.
    • Execute against set unit and GP and profit by product line objectives.
    •  Ensure that the Sales Budget is achieved.
    • Give regular feedback on performance against budget.
    • Implement immediate corrective actions where deviations occur. .

    Sales & Marketing Actions

    Selling – In

    • Develop and maintain a productive long-term relationship with Customers.
    • Assist dealers or co-ops in determining project sales.
    • Ensure that products are delivered as per sales floor plans.
    • Assist with identifying possible financing and insurance possibilities.
    • Identifying and managing risk with regards to Sales.

    Selling - Out

    • Introduce actions and activities to promote the brand and products in allocated areas e.g. Study groups, Farmers Groups, Agricultural Institutions such as Agricultural Schools, Colleges and Universities, Demonstrations, Farmer’s Days, Collaborations with other Businesses such as Seed and other input providers.
    • Initiate Sales and marketing opportunities by continuous area analysis and identifying opportunities.
    • Reach out to individual farmers and potential customers to create demand and refer to Dealers.
    • Plan and execute activities in line with sales & marketing plans.

    Stock Management

    • Liaise with Logistics/Head Office regarding delivery of stock items.
    • Ensure that stock in his/her portfolio is visible and maintained as per Company directives.
    • Arrange for the delivery and commissioning of equipment to customers.

    Administration

    • Develop robust knowledge of all products in countries.
    • Document all Administrative work on SAGE X3 (Quotations, Customer Visits, Registration of Sold Equipment, Inventory Management)
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
    • Track expenses in an organized fashion.
    • Report weekly/monthly on the status of field marketing activities.
    • Document and share lead/customer intelligence with the sales team.
    • Open communication to the Business Development Manager and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

    Requirements

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Education

    • Min: Post-Matric Certificate/Diploma
    • Ideal: Degree in agriculture/business/marketing or a related field

    Experience

    • Up to 3 years of product application knowledge

    Knowledge

    •  Agricultural Mechanization - Knowledge of the principles and complexities of Agricultural Mechanization.
    •  Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer-needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
    •  Business Knowledge – Understand the principles of successful business and the application of these principles in this business. Must have good financial acumen.
