    Safety Specialist; D2; VUS_KRL1124/22GS

    The role:

    The role is responsible to continuously monitor and analyse safety, health & environment data and systems to minimize and mitigate employee exposure to unsafe and hazardous conditions. The role coordinates the maintenance of SHE systems by conducting daily, weekly and monthly analysis. Reporting the findings to the relevant line manager for action plans to be implemented and maintaining effective procedures and systems

    • To conform to legal requirements and duties of 2.17.1.

    Professional Nurse (Level 3) (OHNP); C3; MMS045/23GS

    The role:

    • To provide an occupational health service in accordance with the relevant legislation and the occupational health policies of Seriti.

    Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

    • Provide quality customer service delivery within the occupational health centre
    • Comply and adhere to legal internal standards and procedures within the occupational health centre

    Artisan Diesel Mechanic; C3; MMS044/23GS

    The role:

    To provide equipment maintenance service, fault finding and equipment condition monitoring in a safe and sustainable manner

    • Is responsible for daily maintenance, inspections, major services, Fault-finding and repairs to diesel mining earth moving and support equipment

    The role:

    The role involves the management of Seriti Coal’s engineering assets, resources and infrastructure through the planning of long and short-term availability of machinery and equipment, and the organising and management of resources to achieve planned production targets:

    Safety Superintendent; D4; NVC053/23GS

    The role:

    • The purpose of this role is to guide and manage all Safety tasks and functions for the operation, and to maintain and update the Safety and Risk practices and ensure full legal compliance in terms of the MHSA & OHSA for the business unit.

    The duties will include but are not limited to:

    • Manage the legal requirements and duties of 2.17.1 and 2.17.4 of the Mine Health and Safety Act
    • Lead / participate in site safety inspections giving instructions to the Safety Officer regarding the inspections and conduct Visible Felt Leadership through ensuring that the inspections are done properly and to required standards as well as signing off the logbooks
    • Compile Safety Superintendent month-end report and oversee incident and accident investigations through identifying accidents that deemed to be investigated and ensure that these investigations are conducted according to the Seriti Investigation procedure
    • Report review and final sign off high potential incidents and Injuries
    • Co-ordinate and participate in safety audits for Operations / Service Department
    • Review classifications of injuries
    • Monitor and manage implementation of Seriti and Regional HSE related standards at the Operation
    • Provide leadership for the safety team, reviewing data for leading indicators and adopting strategies to address identified undesired trends
    • Facilitate the management and review of compliance to the fatal risk controls

    Superintendent Processing I; D2; NVC121/22GS

    The role:

    • The role is responsible for the control and management of the production process to ensure that production targets and qualities are achieved. Ensure that department complies to all relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

    Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

    • 5 year’s experience in plant processing with a minimum of 3 years as a Metallurgy Engineer or Plant Supervisor
    • A good knowledge of legislation relating to the mining industry e.g. Mine Health and Safety Act
    • In depth knowledge of coal processing methodologies
    • Knowledge of the risk assessment process and practices
    • Aware of best practices and new technologies
    • Computer literacy (MS Office)
    • Valid driver’s license
    • In possession or able to obtain of a valid Certificate of Fitness
