    Ops Supervisor

    Responsible for the effective management of all activities in the Distribution Centre Warehouse relating to customer Deliveris and the completion of all reasonable tasks to ensure the operational efficiency of the organisation with the aim of supporting the organiasations endeavor to become more responsive to its competitors, customers, and consumers. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure the effective functioning of Optimal Transport Management, Customer Deliveries and Outsource Services.
    • Ensure safe warehouse practices and ensure that all systems and procedures operate effectively. 
    • Maintain effective and outstanding. OTIF delivery service levels. 
    • Ensure the cost-effective maintenance of company vehicles and material handling equipment.
    • Maintain effective co-operation and communication with the local sales department to ensure optimal orders are delivered to customers.
    • Engage transport suppliers to maintain optimal fleet uptime to deliver on customer service commitments.
    • Monitor and understand fleet key performance indicators and implement corrective action plans where required. 
    • Ensuring that Fleet/Transport Resourcing is optimal, and that fleet appearance upholds the organization’s image. 
    • Oversee the warehouse to ensure stock availability and that product quality is maintained and ensure that the relevant stakeholders are engaged.  
    • Manage all returned stock.   
    • Ensure that all product invoicing and empty return procedures are adhered to. 
    • Manager the end-to-end Owner Driver process in line with the latest Owner Driver management guidelines. 
    • Review internal and external business processes for alignment with the business strategy. 
    • Effectively handle customer complaints and ensure corrective action is taken where necessary. 
    • Evaluate and maintain loss control procedures on an on-going basis. 
    • Ensure that stacking heights are complied with and maintained. 
    • Maintain and adhere to site housekeeping standards.  
    • Ensure that the delivery fleet complies with all legal requirements as per the Road Transport Quality System.
    • Ensure compliance to all relevant legislation. 
    • Assist in conducting monthly stock counts in line with the Inventory management procedures and processes. 
    • Understand, implement, and adhere to Internal Control Measures such as ICC, Owner Driver, Risk and Quality Audits. 
    • Ensure that Operational Costs cents per liter is contained through continual investigation and improvement of asset utilization and effective warehouse management.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in FMCG Logistics / Distribution Environment.
    • Experience in a customer service environment is essential.
    • Proficient in MS Office, SAP, Strato, Qlikview, Success Factors experience beneficial.
    • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Experience meeting tight deadlines.

    Route to Market Specialist

    To build a commercially active RTM plans to our Route to Market Partners and Bulk Breakers that delivers on coverage of the local universe and builds increasing market share for Heineken Beverages brands. Full commercial understanding and building internal and customer relationships are essential requirements for this role.
     
    Key Responsibilities

    • Determine the most crucial needs of the RTM customers and carries out activities in collaboration with colleagues to ensure that these clients receive first-class customer care and service.

    Risk Controller

    Purpose of the Position: 

    Assist in the execution and implementation of the company Risk Management and control strategy to minimise risks, losses and exposures and ensure that risks are effectively and accordingly managed.

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to: 

    • To provide professional expertise, consultancy and audit services in the disciplines of Risk Management and Control (Protection of assets), Investigation of Serious Crime, Forensic Audit, Security, Occupational Health, Hygiene, Safety, Fire and Explosion Protection, relevant legislated compliance and insurance policy adherence.
    • To co-ordinate and ensure continuous improvement of the risk management discipline and processes within the work place.
    • Ensure loss trends are identified and communicated to relevant management and where appropriate relevant recommendations to avert or reduce further losses.
    • Meet defined SLA’s in terms of functional risk support.
    • Ensure that the site is adequately secured from a physical, electronic and guarding perspective.
    • To ensure that the contracted security service provider is adequately optimised and that the level of service required is maintained.
    • Act to limit fraud risk exposure, to reduce losses, create awareness and follow an audit plan (ensure Corporate Governance support for line Managers).
    • In respect of fraud/theft risks, to ensure the relevant policies and procedures to mitigate or transfer the risk are in place and complied with.
    • Investigating specific claims with a view to minimising exposure/loss levels, where third party damage is involved that comprehensive information is obtained to limit the quantum claimed and protect the Company’s Insurance Cover.
    • Implement measures within the operation that will reduce risks, losses and liability.
    • To monitor/advise on the Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental programme performance.
    • To manage internal self-audits and ensure all audit findings are closed.
    • Ensure all new employees and contractors are inducted on the SHE programme.
    • Ensure site procedures and work instructions are maintained, issued to staff and relevant staff training is conducted.
    • Monitor legislation in regard to health and safety.
    • Ensure applicable designations in terms of OHS Act and regulations are made as applicable.
    • Ensure all accident and incident investigations are controlled, investigated, documented and filed as per legislation.
    • Ensure compliance with regards to Section 8 and 9 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, hazardous evaluation of each area.
    • To maintain site standards to minimise losses, ensure compliance to legal provisions (e.g. OHS Act, Environmental Act, COID Act) and limit legal liability exposures.
    • Ensure periodic checks are carried out on the availability and accuracy of all required operational records and documents.

    The successful candidate must have the following qualification, skills and experience: 

    • Advanced Risk Management Programme 
    • National Diploma: Safety Management or related
    • SAMTRAC
    • Safety, Health and Environment lead auditors training
    • 2 to 5 years practical risk management experience
    • Experience within an industrial or FMCG environment preferable
    • Experience in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental management, Security Management, investigating serious crime including theft and fraud
    • Experience in implementing and managing NOSA integrated systems.
    • NQF registered trainer in Health & Safety.

    Regional Trade Marketing Manager - Gauteng South

    Purpose of the Position

    To develop the regional go to market strategy and manage a team to deliver, optimize and drive execution of brand, channel, and regional strategies.     EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • 8+ years’ experience in (Trade) Marketing.
    • FMCG experience is advantageous.
    • Strong capability in marketing, key accounts, channel, and merchandising management.
