    Supply Chain Supervisor

    Job Description:

    • The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all warehouse functions are done timeously and accurately.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    • Clear understanding of WMS
    • Experience in a Logistics and Distribution environment
    • Computer literate (MS Office)
    • 6 months or more experience
    • Must be familiar with WMS

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

    • Grade 12

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Monitor attendance of all staff
    • Ensure all workers are wearing the correct PPE
    • Administer leave for all employees in the shift
    • Responsible for all Forward Planning
    • Ensure that Training Performance management, and succession planning of the TES Supervisors are in place
    • Compile Daily complement report and send to ADFusion Shift Manager
    • Ensure all toolbox tasks are completed before the shift starts
    • Ensure the shift runs well and queries are dealt with timeously in liaison with ADfusion Shift Manager. Ensure that process compliance is checked
    • Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
    • Ensure Housekeeping is done at the end of each shift

    Cycle Count Coordinator

    Job Description:

    • The Cycle Count Coordinator is responsible for the planning, organizing, supervision and participation in the operations and activities of the DC.

    Minimum Requirements:

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    • Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures
    • Methods of receiving, inspecting, and issuing materials
    • Operation of a forklift and other assigned vehicles and equipment
    • Warehouse operations, procedures, equipment, and terminology
    • Space utilization and inventory techniques
    • Proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies
    • Health and safety regulations
    • Record-keeping techniques
    • Inventory methods and practices
    • Principles and practices of training and providing work direction
    • Automated warehouse inventory system
    • Possession of a valid driver’s license and own car advantageous

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent NQF4 qualification

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt; documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory;
    • Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees;
    • Schedule, Route, prepare and pack orders for delivery; load vehicles; schedule and oversee deliveries and pick-ups;
    • Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required;
    • Maintain inventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required; supervise the assembly of inventory printouts and catalogs as required. Supervise the processing of requisitions and requests to invoice for reimbursements of warehouse codes;
    • Complete requisitions for needed materials to assure adequate stock levels;
    • Monitor automated warehousing system; operate a computer to enter data, correct errors and control key screens as required
    • Maintain regular attendance. Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store and deliver materials, textbooks, supplies or equipment; complete packing slips for shipments as assigned.
    • Ensure all documents received are filed.
    • Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
    • Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
    • Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures;
    • Advise of budget-related needs;
    • Assist in the bid process for various supplies as required;
    • Perform other duties as assigned. Establish and build a relationship with client and TES representatives.
    • Attend formal meetings with client Operations, Cycle count and Inventory manager as required.
    • Communicate and provide feedback regularly to client and resolve client and TES queries timeously.

    Employee Relations Manager

    Job Description:

    • To provide specialist advice and support related to employee relations; continuously improving the quality, service and associated work outputs, contributing to and advising on procedures and processes that are in alignment with established practices, policy and labour legislation.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Experience:

    • 3 – 5 years relevant experience

    Education:

    • Bachelor`s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business, Commerce and Management Studies

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Accountable for the improvement of quality, service and desired work outputs, advising on procedural and process improvements; enabling adherence to a set framework of policies and procedures.
    • Proactively identify process related operational problems, determine cause and effect and recommend improvements to solve issues based on previous experience and an understanding of the context of the problem.
    • Plan for the organisation of work outputs and process improvement activities in light of a specific situational context related to an area of specialisation.
    • Gather relevant information related to specialisation activities; collate and integrate into written reports for assessment or appraisal and present as an input to managerial reporting or decision making.
    • Implement, manage and enable fair employee relations practices, to enable workforce delivery related to business objectives.
    • Maintain current knowledge of related government rules and regulations, including all applicable Labour laws and regulations, to ensure adherence to compliance and meet reporting requirements.
    • Collaborate with different business areas to provide employees with knowledge and awareness of relevant laws, associated regulations as well as requirements.
    • Identify, diagnose and recommend improvements and provide specialist advice and support; ensuring that solutions are appropriate and effective.
    • Provide training and development related to Labour law processes and the application of internal policies to line management and Human Resources practitioners.
    • Represent area of responsibility at the Bargaining Council and with associated CCMA processes to effectively resolve disputes.
    • Provide support to management in resolving employee disputes, including union negotiations, strikes, mutual interest disputes, wage negotiations, section 189/ 197 processes and mutual separation agreements, through consultation and act as a mediator to harmonise working relations.
    • Monitor and advice clients on the industrial or employee relations environment.
    • Advise on adherence to the application of labour legislation, conditions of employment and other related industrial matters and highlight potential risks.
    • Represent the organisation in conducting client specific union and employee-related negotiations, facilitating a favourable outcome for the organisation.
    • Ensure accurate client-specific reporting and trends analysis for all ER activities to enable comprehensive report submission to the team and the senior manager.
    • Ensure support to clients are executed within agreed client specific SLAs.
    • Comply with risk and governance policies and implement and provide subject matter feedback to enhance the development of processes applicable to an area of specialisation.
    • Implement, evaluate, monitor and realign area specific processes, advising on compliance and delivery within the context of specified legislation.
    • Provide advice and support to the business with the aim of mitigating litigation risk across impacted operational areas.
    • Adhere to financial controls, governance and compliance policies and processes throughout an area of specialisation, contributing to cost efficiency.
    • Participate in best practice forums and contribute positively to own and operational knowledge improvement related to human resources utilisation associated with an area of specialisation.
    • Contribute to the successful implementation of change initiatives by making recommendations for guidelines and requirements in support of the change specific to an area of specialisation.
    • Motivate, coach and develop direct reports, ensuring continuous development of human resources, creating an operational and process driven learning enabled environment.

    HR Administrator

    Job Description:

    • The purpose of an HR administrator is to act as the first point of contact for all employees in the HR department. In addition, to ensure accurate HR records on all full-time employees and provide HR reports as required

    Minimum Experience:

    • 1-2 years of HR Experience in a Logistics/Manufacturing/Distribution /TES or Facilities Management Environment
    • Min 1 year of Administrator experience
    • Computer literate (MS Office)

    Minimum Qualification:

    • Grade 12
    • HR degree or equivalent essential
    • HR Assistant or HR generalist experience is advantageous
    • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Manage Time and Attendance of all permanent staff
    • Administer leave for all permanent staff
    • Ensure that a register is available daily for Management to sign
    • Ensure that all perm staff are scheduled on WFM and the schedule is correct
    • Manage all SAP reference checks done on new agency employees before they come on to site
    • Compile HR stats reports i.e. Terminations, SAP Active, Organisational Structures, Status Changes and New engagements
    • Provide assistance and advice to Assignee clerks in T & A office
    • Liaise with Agencies with regards to any HR related queries
    • Compile ad hoc reports as requested by Personnel Officer and ADfusion managementEnsure that all new employees are aware of the payroll process and payslips layout
    • Carry out all the administrative processes in the recruitment process, i.e. prepare recruitment documents, place adverts in the DC, sit on interview panels when required
    • Ensure all relevant application forms are completed for employee take on
    • Ensure employee understands the contents of the contract and has copies of all documents
    • Ensure that the HR service complies with safer recruitment practices and compliance
    • Liaise with HR head office with regards to filling vacancies
    • Ensure the payroll department is presented with accurate payroll data processed within the deadline
    • Close off Payroll on WFM for all DCs
    • Distribute payslips monthly to Shoprite permanent staff and ADfusion permanent staff
    • Resolve Perm staff and Management payroll queries timeously
    • Resolve Staff Buying Card queries timeously-limit adjustments, ordering a new card, etc.
    • Compile the Incentives report and distribute it to the relevant stakeholders
    • Liaise with payroll to resolve any staff leave queries
    • Process and Authorise all overtime for Shoprite permanent staffOrder and issue out uniforms and PPE for permanent staff
    • Ensure that all contractors coming on-site are loaded on SAP and provide the relevant documentation.
    • Organise and Co-ordinate HR functions and Training
    • Ensure that all documents, i.e. Leave forms, interview packs, and CVs are filled
    • Ad hoc duties for Personnel Officer and ADfusion operations manager        Establish and build a relationship with staff and management
    • Understand staff requirements and ensure service delivery and compliance according to agreed terms in respect of:
    • Daily/weekly management meeting requirements
    • Attend formal meetings with Regional Operations Manager /Personnel officer when required
    • Develop awareness of business needs and communicate to Regional Operations Manager/Personnel Officer
    • Communicate and provide feedback regularly to manager and resolve staff queries timeously
    • Compile required documents for disciplinary hearings;
    • Observe in disciplinary hearings
    • Take minutes in disciplinary hearings
