    Finance Graduate

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    The Accounting Graduate will be responsible for various support activities in the Finance Shared Service Centre.

    The main missions will be as follows:

    • Cashbook postings and Bank Reconciliations
    • Load manual payments on banking system
    • Perform Treasury checks and update KPI’s
    • Provide supporting documentation to the bank
    • Respond to request for proof of payment and other banking enquiries
    • Create request for supplier change of banking details
    • Rotate into various positions within the Finance Shared Service Centre.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    The ideal graduate will have/be:

    • Minimum a BCOM degree in Financial Accounting
    • An academic record maintaining an overall 70% pass mark.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving-skills. 
    • Strong customer satisfaction orientation.

    HR Trainee/Intern - Uitenhage

    Main purpose of the role

    The role of the Human Resources Graduate is to support the HR Team in the day-to-day HR activities in accordance with the Group's human resources policies and procedures.

    Essential responsibilities and duties

    The main missions of the role are:

    • Assist the HR team in personnel administration, implementation of group HR policies and their follow-up, staffing issues or industrial relations.
    • Propose action plans and participate in their deployment.
    • Collect information and prepare reports in line with Group HR policies for month-end figures and follow up indicators.
    • Ensure that the organization complies with labour laws.
    • Participate in Plant HR Activities
    • Represent HR at the daily Plant Top 5 if required
    • Assume responsibility for assigned FES chapters
    • Answer employee queries related to payroll
    • Participate in training or Health Safety & Environment (HSE) issues if necessary.

    Qualifications and position requirements

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree or other relevant tertiary qualification with a specialisation in HR

    Experience

    • Strong willingness to learn IR/ Employee relations
    • Familiar with HR Information systems as well as MS office (advantageous)
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
