    Millwright

    Job Description

    • Freedom Stationery is looking for a highly skilled Millwright to join our Engineering & Maintenance team. This role is responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment across multiple production facilities. The successful candidate will focus on minimizing downtime, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. 

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Maintenance & Repairs

    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
    • Diagnose faults, replace defective parts, and ensure minimal production downtime.

    Installation & Commissioning

    • Install, assemble, and commission new equipment and machinery.
    • Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.

    Troubleshooting & Fault-Finding

    • Identify and rectify faults in production machinery and electrical systems.
    • Use diagnostic tools and technical expertise to implement effective solutions.

    Compliance & Safety

    • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations and company policies.
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to prevent workplace hazards.

    Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and part replacements.
    • Provide reports on equipment performance and downtime analysis.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Identify and implement strategies to improve machine efficiency and productivity.
    • Provide technical expertise for machinery upgrades and operational improvements.
    • Conduct evaluations of machine technology and propose innovative solutions.

    Job Requirements

    • Qualified Millwright (Red Seal / Trade Test Certified).
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role.
    • Experience working with high-speed production machinery (advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment.
    • Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems.
    • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
    • Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
    • Ensuring precision in maintenance and repair work.
    • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

    Health and Safety Officer

    Job Description

    • Freedom Stationery Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Officers to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (SHE) standards and company policies. This role plays a critical part in promoting a safe, efficient, and legally compliant workplace environment across all operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and monitor Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and procedures in accordance with the Health and Safety Act.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, reporting deviations and recommending corrective actions.
    • Compile and communicate risk assessments, safe working procedures, and ensure employee awareness of potential hazards.
    • Investigate workplace incidents and injuries, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective measures.
    • Facilitate Health and Safety Committee meetings, prepare minutes, and distribute to relevant stakeholders.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (SHEQ)
    • SAMTRAC or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • Solid understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and related legislation.
    • Experience in security monitoring and incident investigation preferred.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)
    • Ability to work Independently and collaborative with cross- Functional teams 
    • Valid driver's License and willingness to travel between company site when required
    • Must reside in the local area

    • Freedom Stationery is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and control warehouse operations at our Midrand Distribution Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient inbound and outbound logistics, accurate inventory control, effective team supervision, and consistent service delivery in line with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, coordinate, and monitor receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatch activities
    • Supervise order pickers, forklift drivers, general workers, receiving clerks, and drivers
    • Ensure accurate inventory control, bin location management, and regular stock counts
    • Investigate and report overstock, shortages, damages, and obsolete stock
    • Coordinate efficient and timely truck loading and delivery schedules

    Senior Creditors Clerk

    Job Description

    • Freedom Printpak, a leading manufacturer within the Freedom Group, is seeking a Senior Creditors Clerk to join its Finance team at the Canelands facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate management, reconciliation, and control of supplier accounts in line with company policies and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, people management, compliance, and performance monitoring in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and support daily operations across manufacturing, warehouse, and administration functions.
    • Oversee asset management, including asset verification, control, acquisition, and disposal.
    • Manage raw material stock control and production planning, including minimum stock levels, slow-moving stock, and reorder quantities.
    • Monitor operational performance, compare plan vs actual results, and report on OEE and productivity.

    Senior Debtors Controller

    Job Purpose

    • Interstat is looking for an experienced Debtors Manager to take ownership of the full debtors function. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing credit risk, driving collections, and leading a team of debtors’ clerks to ensure strong cash flow and compliance with credit policies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and control the full debtors’ book, including overdue and high-risk accounts
    • Ensure timely collection of outstanding balances and reduce debtor days
