    Channel Partner Manager

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Channel Partner Manager will be responsible for the effective management of our CP’s in an increasingly competitive and challenging marketplace. They will have to use the tools in the Danaher Business System to grow revenue and ensure accurate reporting of key metrics for success. This is a high-profile role and will report directly to the sales manager.

    Role And Responsibilities

    • Developing a Channel Partner strategy in accordance with company business strategy.
    • Defining, maintaining, refreshing, and explaining Channel Partner related processes, SOPs etc.
    • Recruiting and filtering new Channel Partners; Terminating existing Channel Partners
    • Handle Channel Partners’ routine management (distribution agreement, compliance, credit control etc.) in cooperation with other functions.
    • Consolidating Channel Partners’ periodical reporting
    • Handling the Channel Partners’ performance management: ensuring delivery of annual targets, scorecard, sell-through, RACI, forecasting etc.
    • Handling Channel Partners’ channel conflicts management: project registration, arbitration etc.
    • Overseeing Channel Partners’ training and development plan and implementation
    • Together with marketing, supporting Channel Partners’ marketing activities, and sales tools.
    • Together with Service, building CPs’ service capability.
    • Participates in sales activities including customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, product demonstrations and customer seminars with the CP
    • Use CRM (SalesForce) system for customer contacts, activities, funnel management, forecasting, and project management
    • Collects and reports information on all competitive activity within the assigned territory.

    BACKGROUND & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

    The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience, and background to perform effectively in the role:

    • 5 years channel management experience in multi-national B2B business
    • 5 years’ experience as in industrial sales.
    • Ability to handle pressure
    • Have commercial acumen
    • Integrity is mandatory
    • Knowing the market and water products is a plus

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5 years sales management experience is mandatory
    • Must have his/her own reliable vehicle
    • Proven track record of integrity and compliance in all business dealings
    • Demonstrated track record of delivering results beyond expectations
    • Demonstrated ability to navigate difficult business environments
    • Use of reporting tools such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, ERP system (Oracle Advantageous), CRM (Sales Force)
    • Strong track record of driving continuous improvement

    EDUCATION:

    • BA or BSc degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences, or equivalent experience. Bachelor/Master in Business Management/Engineering/Chemistry with relevant experience in the water sector is a plus

    LANGUAGE CAPABILITY: English

    TRAVEL: 85% travel nationally

    Leads Generation Specialist

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Leads Generating Specialist will be responsible for proactively driving marketing lead generation and qualification activities and processes to accelerate incremental revenue growth in South Africa. Aside from the main role of managing marketing-generated leads and helping drive TMDM in the region, they will also be in-charge of maintaining and improving the quality of the marketing database to develop more effective and targeted TMDM activities and provide administrative sales support when needed.

    Role And Responsibilities

    • Marketing Lead Management Duties
    • Drive TMDM in MEA
    • Engage customers and prospects via phone and email to identify sales opportunities for immediate closure, funnel placement or assignment.
    • Conduct tele-lead generation to support marketing activities and campaigns.
    • Conduct lead qualification to qualify all leads assigned from marketing activities (events, SEO, PPC, third part databases, etc.) using established internal processes
    • Assign qualified leads to channel partners and/or ISS team to respond to customer inquiries.
    • Utilize funnel management practices to progress opportunities to close
    • Meet marketing KPIs through visual management, PSP, and countermeasures where appropriate.
    • Daily update of data on SFDC
    • Marketing Visibility Duties
    • Drive the visibility initiative for the entity
    • Populate and maintain highest standards of data accuracy and integrity in SFDC
    • Ensure account visibility criteria is applied to all assigned accounts
    • Work with the commercial team and channel partners to achieve visibility KPIs
    • Sales Support Duties
    • Manage our Share of Wallet initiative to increase consumable business in existing client base
    • Generate quotations and support Regional Sales Associates with Sales Administrative tasks
    • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Sales and Marketing Manager

    BACKGROUND & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

    The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience, and background to perform effectively in the role:

    • Minimum 2 years leads generation and qualification experience, ideally within a B2B business
    • Strong understanding of effective lead generation and qualification processes.
    • Knowledge of demand creation tools and multi-department, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
    • Basic understanding of digital marketing: SEO, pay per click advertising and email marketing.
    • Proven track record of growing leads and sales through online marketing.
    • Positive, Proactive, able to multi-task, well organized with an eye for details.
    • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office and good working knowledge of Excel and Salesforce.

    • Diploma/Degree in Marketing or Business Administration or a related field
    • Chemical Engineering or related Instrumentation/process control will be considered
