    Senior Test Analyst

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a Senior Test Analyst to join our client's team. The Senior Test Analyst is responsible for leading testing activities across complex initiatives, ensuring high-quality software delivery and providing mentorship and quality governance within the testing function. The role combines hands-on testing with test planning, coordination and stakeholder engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Test Leadership & Planning

    • Lead the definition and execution of test strategies, plans, and approaches for projects and releases.
    • Analyse complex business and technical requirements to define comprehensive test coverage.
    • Estimate testing effort, identify risks and provide input into delivery planning.
    • Ensure testing aligns with organisational quality standards and best practices.

    Test Design & Execution

    • Design, review and maintain high-quality test scenarios, cases and data.
    • Execute and oversee functional, integration, system, regression and end-to-end testing.
    • Guide automation testing efforts and identify opportunities for test optimisation.
    • Ensure non-functional testing requirements (performance, security, usability) are considered.

    Defect & Quality Management

    • Manage defect lifecycle, ensuring clear logging, prioritisation and resolution.
    • Perform root cause analysis and recommend quality improvements.
    • Provide go/no-go recommendations based on test outcomes and risk assessment.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners and Project Managers.
    • Translate testing risks and issues into clear, business-focused insights.
    • Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

    Mentorship & Continuous Improvement

    • Coach and mentor Test Analysts and junior QA team members.
    • Review test artefacts and provide constructive feedback.
    • Drive continuous improvement in test processes, tools and practices.

    Required Skills & Competencies

    • Advanced knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC/STLC and quality assurance practices.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to lead testing efforts independently across multiple workstreams.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail with a strategic quality mindset.

    Technical Skills (Typical) 

    • Test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr).
    • Solid experience with manual testing and exposure to test automation frameworks.
    • API testing tools (e.g. Postman).
    • SQL for data validation and test analysis.
    • CI/CD and Agile delivery environments (Scrum/SAFe).

    Qualifications & Experiences

    • Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 5+ years’ experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
    • ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or equivalent certification (advantageous).

    Job Description

    • We are seeking an experienced Technology/Domain Specialist II to actively own and be accountable for the overall evolution, stability and optimisation of multiple Technology or Domain assets within the organisation. The successful candidate will influence and maintain the health of these assets, provide technical and domain leadership, and play a key role within the associated Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to drive standardisation, innovation and continuous improvement across the technology landscape.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own and manage the lifecycle of multiple technology or domain assets, ensuring alignment with business and enterprise technology strategies.
    • Maintain and improve asset health, availability, performance, resilience and operational effectiveness.
    • Provide leadership and guidance within relevant Centres of Excellence (CoEs), contributing to standards, frameworks and best practices.
    • Drive the evolution of technology assets through modernisation, optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, operations and risk functions to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
    • Influence technology direction, roadmaps and investment decisions within the domain.
    • Identify, assess and manage technology risks, technical debt and operational issues.
    • Ensure compliance with governance, security, risk and regulatory standards applicable to the banking environment.
    • Support incident resolution, problem management and root-cause analysis for critical technology assets.
    • Mentor and guide technical teams, promoting knowledge sharing and capability development.
    • Contribute to architecture reviews, solution design discussions and strategic technology initiatives.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
    • Relevant industry certifications will be advantageous.
    • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in technology, engineering, architecture or domain-specialist roles within a large enterprise environment.
    • Proven experience managing or influencing enterprise technology assets and platforms.
    • Experience working within financial services or banking environments is highly advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of technology governance, risk management and operational processes.
    • Demonstrated experience participating in or leading Communities of Practice / Centres of Excellence.

    Role Purpose

    • The Agricultural Valuation & Machine Learning Model SME will provide specialist advisory, research, and knowledge management services to support the development, validation, and interpretation of machine learning-driven agricultural valuation models.
    • The role bridges agricultural valuation expertise, business requirements, data science, and credit decisioning to ensure valuation approaches are practical, credible, and aligned to business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide expert guidance on agricultural valuation methodologies and asset pricing principles.
    • Advise on the development and refinement of machine learning valuation models.
    • Support identification of valuation drivers, assumptions, and business rules.
    • Review and interpret model outputs and provide recommendations.

    • Translate technical modelling concepts into business language.

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Demonstrated experience in agricultural valuation, agribusiness economics, agricultural finance, or related disciplines.
    • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies and collateral valuation principles.
    • Experience supporting analytical, statistical, or machine learning models.
    • Strong research, analytical, and documentation skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with business, technical, and executive stakeholders.
    • Experience within banking, agricultural finance, credit risk, or lending environments is advantageous.
