    Technology/Domain Specialist II

    Job Description

    • We are seeking an experienced Technology/Domain Specialist II to actively own and be accountable for the overall evolution, stability and optimisation of multiple Technology or Domain assets within the organisation. The successful candidate will influence and maintain the health of these assets, provide technical and domain leadership, and play a key role within the associated Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to drive standardisation, innovation and continuous improvement across the technology landscape.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own and manage the lifecycle of multiple technology or domain assets, ensuring alignment with business and enterprise technology strategies.
    • Maintain and improve asset health, availability, performance, resilience and operational effectiveness.
    • Provide leadership and guidance within relevant Centres of Excellence (CoEs), contributing to standards, frameworks and best practices.
    • Drive the evolution of technology assets through modernisation, optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, operations and risk functions to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
    • Influence technology direction, roadmaps and investment decisions within the domain.
    • Identify, assess and manage technology risks, technical debt and operational issues.
    • Ensure compliance with governance, security, risk and regulatory standards applicable to the banking environment.
    • Support incident resolution, problem management and root-cause analysis for critical technology assets.
    • Mentor and guide technical teams, promoting knowledge sharing and capability development.
    • Contribute to architecture reviews, solution design discussions and strategic technology initiatives.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
    • Relevant industry certifications will be advantageous.
    • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in technology, engineering, architecture or domain-specialist roles within a large enterprise environment.
    • Proven experience managing or influencing enterprise technology assets and platforms.
    • Experience working within financial services or banking environments is highly advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of technology governance, risk management and operational processes.
    • Demonstrated experience participating in or leading Communities of Practice / Centres of Excellence.
