    Credit Controller

    Purpose of Job

    • Control debtors’ accounts as per agreements and in adherence with credit management policies and procedures to minimise bad debts.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Manage debtors book according to established Accounts Receivables policies and procedures and agreed terms
    • Follow up on overdue accounts to reduce debtors’ DSO and achieve set targets.
    • Prepare and submit reports on overdue and term accounts.
    • Collect bad debts in a timely manner and within agreed payment terms.
    • Carry out accurate reconciliation between customer and debtors accounts.
    • Release orders for blocked accounts as per approvals and delegation of authority.
    • Prepare credit/debit, refund, and rebates requests and attach relevant supporting documents.
    • Accurately allocate payments.
    • Communicate with internal and external customers
    • Handle customer queries on invoices and maintain records on system. Assist internal and external auditors as needed.
    • Comply to policies, credit legislation, International Accounting Standards (IAS), provisions of SOX control, relevant statutory requirements of IFRS, Companies Act, and NCA.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable the achievement of effective debt collection and reduction of debtors’ DSO.
    • Continuously improve own skills and knowledge. Complete, implement, and track personal development plan to attain personal performance goals.

    Manager Communication

    Purpose of Job

    • Create communications strategies for Sasol Mining initiatives, launches, events, and promotions in line with identified audiences and relevant stakeholders and according to set budget.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Lead the delivery of robust communication and employee engagement plans for Sasol (Mining) and measurement against KPIs.  
    • Partner with and counsel leaders and subject experts across mining operations and drive the execution of communication deliverables against agreed objectives.

    Senior Manager Regulatory Services Markets

    Purpose of Job

    • To lead and manage economic policy and regulation development and implementation relating to liquid fuel and gas impacting Sasol. Lead the Energy Pricing team in developing and managing prices and tariffs across various sales channels for liquid fuels and gas. Develop short and long-term assumptions for prices, margins, tariffs, and markets, and support in calculating, loading and administering controlled and contractual pricing related to liquid fuels, residual products and pipeline gas prices. To influence, develop and manage relationships with Sasol’s Government, regulatory industry stakeholders and thought leaders/key influencers in the energy regulation environment, and understand their position and level of influence on energy policy and regulation. 

    Key Accountabilities

    • Lead the economic regulatory and pricing strategy to drive corporate sustainable development.
    • Identify shifts in economic regulations and policy which might impact the organization.
    • Influence, develop and manage relationships with relevant government, political and regulatory stakeholders and thought leaders/key influencers in the economic and energy sectors.
    • Analyze, prioritize, lead the response formulation and pro-actively provide inputs for engagement into regulatory dialogue, progress on commitments compliance requirements, potential threats and opportunities.
    • Lead economic policy discussion and engagement that enables market access and growth for Sasol’s products.
    • Develop positions and comment on energy, tariff and pricing methodologies where those impact Sasol.
    • Lead implementation of regulated prices and tariffs.
    • Actively champion the development of consistent, coherent and sustainable regulation by developing and advancing Sasol’s messages for its long-term sustainability and license to operate and trade in energy.
    • Guide preparation and submission of licenses, where necessary.
    • Engage with relevant stakeholders, discuss improvement projects, and pursue effective collaboration with other units of Sasol group.
    • Take the lead in constructively contributing a sustainable (liquid fuels and gas related policy landscape in selected operating jurisdictions).
    • Oversee tracking and monitoring of the external environment particularly the international political and other developments that may impact the organization.
    • Work closely with operations and business to ensure the impact of economic regulations and policy is understood.
    • Advise on regulatory constraint, opportunity and impact on strategy.

    Formal Education

    Purpose of Job

    • To support with the maintenance of mechanical / electro-mechanical / electro-mechanical systems and equipment.

    Specialist Artisan Instrument Mechanician

    Purpose of Job

    • An Artisan supports production by providing effective equipment maintenance and reliability while adhering to procedures/codes, and utilising all available support resources to increase stability and maintain sustainability of the plant.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Execution of tasks associated with maintenance inspections and strategies including alarm and trip testing
    • Calibration and maintenance of instrumentation, including control valves, level, flow, pressure and temperatures
    • Calibrate and replace transmitters
    • Participate in the maintenance of Control Systems, including fault finding/diagnostics, alarm management, basic software engineering & configuration, maintaining plant DCS hardware

    Analyst Cybersecurity & Assurance

    Purpose of Job

    • Provide first line (operational) assurance to the Cybersecurity team by verifying that security controls are properly designed and operating effectively across core security domains.The role designs and performs control monitoring, testing, gathers evidence and reports objective outcomes against Sasol's IT Critical Cybersecurity Controls (CIS v8.1 mapped to NIST CSF 2.0) and related policies/standards enabling timely remediation and demonstrable compliance.This role is positioned within the Sasol cybersecurity team to drive governance, control monitoring and compliance. 

    Key Accountabilities
    Control design assurance:

    • Validate control design against internal standards and policies (e.g., AD/Entra ID, PAM, SOC logging, firewall hygiene), raising design gaps and concessions where needed.
    • Translate enterprise control objectives (CIS/NIST CSF) into testable control statements and SOPs for first line checks across identity, endpoint, network, data protection, logging/monitoring, and incident response.
    • Embed doer–checker separation for high-risk activities; ensure evidence trails meet internal and external assurance expectations.

    Operating effectiveness & continuous monitoring:

    • Plan and execute control tests (periodic and continuous), collecting Outcome-Driven Metrics (ODMs) for the Cyber Safety Score dashboard.
    • Operate configuration/compliance scans and related health checks to detect baseline drift and control exceptions.
    • Coordinate detective control coverage checks (e.g., SIEM use-case health, log onboarding completeness) to assure alert efficacy.

    Evidence, reporting & governance:

    • Maintain auditable evidence packs mapped to each control/safeguard and to the control library.
    • Produce clear monthly assurance reports highlighting control status, exceptions, risks, and remediation progress for Cyber leadership and Combined Assurance forums.

    Issue/exception handling and risk response:

    • Drive remediation tracking with control owners; log and monitor risk responses and concessions per the Cybersecurity Risk Response process.
    • Support SOX/ITGC sustainment by aligning first-line checks to key access/change/configuration controls and collating compensating-control evidence where needed.

    Stakeholder collaboration (2nd/3rd line):

    • Partner with GRC/Compliance (2nd line) and Internal Audit (3rd line) to share first-line results, close findings, and reduce repeat issues via design improvements and SOP updates.

    Formal Education

    • 3–4 year relevant degree (Information Security / Computer Science / Risk / Audit).

    Certifications (one or more advantageous)

    • Security Operations / Controls: CompTIA Security+, (ISC)² SSCP, CCSP, CISA,CISSP
    • Governance/Standards: ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor
    • Microsoft Security/IAM: SC-200, SC-300, SC-100, AZ-500
    • PAM/IAM: vendor certifications (e.g., CyberArk, Omada)

    Lead IP Legal Advisor x2

    Purpose of Job
