Job Description

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF4 
• Load and offload of stock 
• Keeping premises clean and tidy 
• Stock control 
• Able to perform hard manual labour 
• Constantly adding value to the function of the job
• Able to read and understand English
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday (6 day work week)
• Willing to work nightshift

Duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure that the correct packaging for Graded Mills is used at all times
• To ensure, on an ongoing basis, that the milled products are not mixed
• To ensure that milled products are bagged, packaged, placed on pallets and are stored in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) daily

• To comply with Safety and Foodstuffs legislation at all times
• Responsible for general tidiness 
• Cleaning duties

Job description

• The Floor Assistant is responsible for supporting the smooth flow of goods within the depot, assisting customers and colleagues, and maintaining stock presentation and store hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / NQF 4
• Previous experience in a depot or retail environment will be an advantage
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
• Willing to work overtime and weekends when required
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist customers with loading and product information
• Receive, move, and pack stock accurately and safely
• Ensure stock is correctly displayed and replenished
• Maintain cleanliness and order on the depot floor
• Support general operational and housekeeping duties
