    Executive Head: Collections And Customer Acquisition

    Role Purpose

    The Executive Head: Collections and Customer Acquisition role is based within Consumer Business Unit. To lead the design and implementation of end-to-end collections and customer acquisition strategies with the main focus on driving collections, reducing churn and bad debt ratios. Implement new products, processes, systems and services that are cost effective to drive customer acquisition. Develop and implement campaigns that are aimed at improving collections efficiencies.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include
    Customer Acquisition

    • Oversee the mapping, design and implementation of new vetting processes / enhancements.
    • Ensure all business requirements and changes are properly documented (i.e. Business Requirement Specifications)
    • Sign-off on UAT testing prior to implementation, and assist with post-implementation reviews.
    • Ensure the overall efficiency and accuracy of the vetting value chain by introducing proactive monitoring and exceptions reports.
    • Monitor the quality of contract approvals and subsequent connections to ensure booking happen within the prescriber risk mandate
    • Lead projects and provide strategic input in areas impacting the customer acquisition process.
    • Ensure resolution of escalated IT and business issues relating to Customer Acquisition
    • Generate relevant management reports and to interpret information contained in order to make proactive recommendations with regards to business opportunities
    • Drive improvements in sustained customer engagements


    Leadership and Operational Accountabilities

    • Prepare, monitor, control and manage the departmental budget
    • Provide leadership and coaching to all employees
    • Set and deliver against KPIs for collections and customer acquisition teams to meet Vodacom Services company objectives
    • Work with internal operations and business optimisation teams to maximise impact, drive efficiencies and continuous improvement
    • Drive active portfolio and lifecycle management of post-paid propositions


    The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

    Senior Specialist: Group Governance Risk and Compliance

    Role Purpose

    The Senior Specialist Governance Risk and Control role based within Technology. The primary purpose of this role is to provide management with assurance that there are adequately designed controls in place which are operating effectively, and that control coverage is sufficient across the IT and Networking environments.
    The individual will also be responsible for the development and review of governance aspects including policies and standards, tracking audit-related management actions, and managing Cyber Security risk. The function is across Vodacom Group markets.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Provide proactive support and guidance across the environment on the management of technology risks through robust controls. This includes managing the top 10 key technology risks from a controls perspective across the Vodacom markets, identification and assessment of new risks, tracking and re-evaluation of existing risks, closure of risks where applicable, and management reporting. Ensure that Cyber risk consistently aligns with and supports organisational risk.
    • Best practice recommendations for Cyber Security implementation across various markets with consideration of local challenges and needs, and coupled with innovative problem-solving.
    • Act as assurance liaison between external and internal audit functions and business stakeholders across Vodacom markets, establishing and agreeing audit scope, requirements and timelines, and providing sound recommendations to business in terms of audit evidence responses in alignment with industry assurance principles.
    • Monitoring of security control and process compliance and coverage with the aim to identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Extensive focus on Cyber business intelligence reporting to facilitate an end-to-end view of the state of security across the environment, and to support management and executive Cyber strategy formulation and decision-making.
    • Provide educated, researched and informed guidance, input and recommendations to stakeholders on various levels within the organisation on Cyber Security topics as required. Become a trusted advisor.
    • Assist with development, implementation and communications of Cyber Awareness and Culture campaigns and programs.
    • Assist with implementation of standardised policies, standards, procedures and practices across Vodacom markets.
    • Provide GRC guidance and support for Vodacom markets, including Risk, Audit and Assurance reporting advisory and quality assurance.


    The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

    • IT Audit, Risk Management or Cyber Security experience in large enterprises is required.
    • Relevant Frameworks and Industry Certifications (for example CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CISA, ISO 2700x, Security+, etc.) preferable.
    • Experience with implementing or auditing PoPI, GDPR, PCI-DSS and SOx would be a bonus.
    • Technical/Infrastructure/Process knowledge is required i.e. a good overall knowledge of the following:
    • Operating Systems (LINUX, Windows)
    • IT Networks, Firewalls, VPNs
    • Databases (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.)
    • Security telemetry tools such as EDR, EPP, DLP, ATP, encryption, etc.
    • Patch and vulnerability management
    • Data leak prevention
    • Data protection mechanisms, e.g. encryption, anonymization and masking.
    • Privacy and Protection of Personal Information (PPI)
    • AAA, IAM and PUAM
    • Security Incident Management
    • Security Event Monitoring and Detection

    Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications

    • A relevant IT/Technology Degree (e.g. BSc Computer Science/Engineering, BCom Informatics) OR a minimum of 8 years’ proven work experience in a similar role.
    • Knowledge of one or more information security governance frameworks and standards e.g. ISO Series (2700x and 9001 in particular), NIST CSF, CoBIT for Information Security, ISF SOGP, CIS/SANS, etc.
    • Knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR, PoPI.
    • Experience in conducting cyber security risk assessments.


    Overall Experience 5yrs, Inclusive Of

    • At least 5-8 years’ experience in risk, assurance, control and compliance management in a technology environment, with Cyber or Information Security experience preferred.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in Information Security GRC or an Information Security Audit function would be advantageous

    Senior Account Manager- Mining

    Role Purpose

    • The Senior Account Manager: Mining, Enterprise Sales, role is based within Enterprise Business Unit.


    The Role Of The Account Manager, Mining Is

    • To increase the business from a target list of customers and to retain and record any and all customer and market intelligence to increase future win opportunity regardless if tenders are successful or unsuccessful.
    • To secure new business from their allocated customer list, derived from a specific set of customers.
    • To successfully manage their current base whilst selling additional products and services into these customers.
    • To minimise churn and maximise revenues with revenue growth being a key performance indicator.


    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Managing strategic accounts and delivering profitable, long term business from those accounts
    • Ensuring delivery of annual revenue targets through delivery of full product mix
    • Establishing appropriate relationships with customers in Vodacom and leverages those relationships to ensure maximum financial return from Vodacom customers
    • Work collaboratively to set up service relationship for nominated accounts
    • Provide input to help with decisions about new propositions, product mix and services for customers


    Key Performance Indicators

    • Understand customer preferences, pricing, product, terms and conditions to ensure that their requirements are met; gather and analyse data regarding competitor pricing and products and ensure that Vodacom/Vodafone products and services fit customer requirements
    • Manage deals through commercial governance, demonstrating win strategy, and future revenue growth plan and account development opportunities
    • Effectively manage numerous internal and external deadlines in order to respond to large RFPs for single and multi-country deals


    The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

    • Matric
    • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Account Management
    • Proven working sales experience in and understanding of the Mining Industry
    • Proven working experience in Fixed Telco Industry
    • Proven working experience in Mobile Telco Industry will be an advantage

    • Matric
    • A 3 year commercial (B. Com/Business Science, IT) Degree or Equivalent qualification
    • 5 years’ experience in Account Management.
    • Proven working sales experience in and understanding of the Mining Industry
    • Proven working experience in Fixed Telco Industry
    • Proven working experience in Mobile Telco Industry will be an advantage


    Skills
