We’re looking for a very self-managed and self-motivated individual. Working autonomously is what you’re good at. Not only that, you actually thrive in it. You’ll be juggling operational responsibilities, while at the same time keeping sight of the big picture which includes tactical and strategic demands.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Advertising/Communications/Business or similar
• 3+ years of experience in Digital MarketingExperienced in B2B online marketing (especially within the tech or telecoms sectors)
• Experienced in generating leads via online channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta, Twitter etc.) 
• Proven record of scaling up lead generation to support the growth of a scaling up business (Saas / tech preferably)
• Experienced in using various Google tracking and data tools (Analytics, Tag Manager etc.)
• Experienced in analysing/applying data to advance marketing performance
• Experienced in SEO
• Well-written in English (a passion for copywriting is a big plus)
• Comfortable with using (or learning) WordPress

What you'll be responsible for

• Generate leads via online channels

• Identify and implement new lead-generation channels
• Continually optimise our website for better organic search results
• Conceptualise and produce engaging content in collaboration with our international team
• Translate needs and questions from our customers to marketing communications

We’re looking for a very self-managed and self-motivated individual. Working autonomously is what you’re good at. Not only that, you thrive in it. You’ll be juggling operational responsibilities, while at the same time keeping sight of the big picture and supporting your team as needed.

Your ability to be a good team player will be key to your success. You can execute all the above while being ‘firm but fair’.

What you'll be responsible for

• Good ol’ bookkeeping
• Accounts Payable & Creditor Control GL accounts
• Assist with AR collections and customer queries when required
• From time to time, you will need to do bank reconciliations

Role Accountabilities

Debtors control

• Telephonic and email collections
• Resolving debtor queries
• Reconcile debtor accounts
• Processing credit notes, when and where applicable
• Attending to accounts inbox

• Creditors control

• Follow up with suppliers re: accuracy of bills or bills not received
• Resolving supplier queries
• Reconciling supplier accounts
• Processing supplier invoices
• Processing supplier payments

Bank reconciliations

• Importing daily bank statements
• Reconciling daily bank transactions in Xero

Nice to haves

Projects

• Updating supplier database in Xero
• Update email addresses of customer “bounced” emails

Required qualification

• Matric with Accounting as a subject. An accounting /Financial diploma would be advantageous
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience with online accounting software
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proactive and consistent in handling routine tasks
• Self-motivated, ability to execute tasks autonomously
