    Administrative Assistant - (J Hay Band)

    Job Advert Summary    

    • Responsible for the daily office administration activities in Operations to meet the required standards.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12  (National Senior Certificate)
    • NQF 4 Office Administration Certificate 
    • 3 years Secretarial or Administrative experience 
    • Valid drivers license with the ability to pass Randwater K53 test
    • Computer literacy

    Primary Duties    

    • Correspondence minutes, working out and typing of Lime month- end reports and plant status reports.
    • Typing instructions, motivations and standard work procedure for Operations Department
    • Control and submission of timesheets, leave forms and attendance registers
    • Creating local orders and reservations on SAP and obtaining the relevant signatures and following up the placement of the order
    • Sending and receiving emails and distributing them to the relevant people.
    • Keeping Management Team diaries up to date on a daily basis
    • Assist TOO in administrative duties.
    • Ensure that all invoices received are signed and sent to Finance Department for payment
    • Receiving, verifying and capturing of all lime deliveries.
    • Control of petty cash.
    • Liaison with customers and stakeholder

    • MS Office Package

    Process Control Assistant Lime (I Hay band) - Day Shift

    Job Advert Summary    

    • Operating of the conveyors and associated equipment in order to fill the bunkers to optimum operating level.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12 or NQF4 /N3 Water and Waste Water Treatment Process  
    • Previous water purification plant experience will be an added advantage.
    • Process Controller Classification as per DW's regulation will be an added advantage 

    Primary Duties    

    • Select, fill and monitor bunkers daily to ensure no overfill
    • Load road trucks on request
    • Stop and start lime conveyor
    • Record lime bunker readings for stock monitoring
    • Ensure lime bunkers are filled up
    • Check condition of conveyors
    • Select conveyor to fill bunkers
    • Start or stop the conveyor and dust extraction units
    • Check crusher/ vibrators for visible defects
    • Ensure all starting interlocks are cleared
    • Start the vibrator and feeder
    • Inspect the water level at the basement to avoid floading
    • Transfer of PAC products into the silos and monitor silo levels
    • Ensure the area is kept clean by cleaning chemicals spillages, chocked crusher and conveyor chutes

    Knowledge    

    • Basic understanding of water treatment process  
    • Basic mathematics
    • General safety conscious

    Minimum Requirements    
    Minimum Education:
