Responsibilities

• Yard and equipment housekeeping.
• Ensure safe storage of all equipment in yard.
• Remove 3rd party equipment from warehouse and prepare for return.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding accuracy expectations and productivity minimums as directed by Operations Management.
• Operates safety sensitive and heavy equipment such as, but not limited to, forklifts, pallet jacks and flat bed carts in a safe and effective manner to minimize the risk of injury, or property damage.
• Performs a daily stock count on all equipment.
• Ensure the pre-determined equipment pool is maintained so there is no loss of productivity.
• Performs pre-inspections and post-inspections of all equipment before and after use.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment always.
• Performs any other equipment related duties as required by Operations.
• Use your numeric skills for tasks like counting and basic calculations.
• Bring a positive attitude to the workplace, contributing to a pleasant team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
• Ensure appealing plate presentation
• Monitor food stock and place orders
• Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
• Ensure that all sushi is prepared and ready for compiling.
• Being able to follow the recipes using all the correct quantities of ingredients as well as creating new recipe templates for all new products before the products are made.
• When an ingredient is close to out of stock and order from the correct supplier.
• Take accurate stock take on a weekly basis
• Assist in the preparation of sushi ingredients, including cutting, slicing, and rolling.
• Learn and practice sushi-making techniques, such as nigiri, sashimi, maki, and more.
• Collaborate with fellow sushi chefs to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
• Maintain a clean and organised sushi station, following food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of sushi supplies.
• Participate in maintaining the quality and consistency of sushi dishes.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Unload goods by operating a forklift if required.
• Ensure that quantities are correct by matching the physical quantities offloaded with the quantity on the delivery documentation and the quantity ordered.
• Visually inspect delivered goods for damages and correctness.
• Conducting relevant Food Safety Temperature Checks as per the FSMS in the case of refrigerated deliveries.
• Report any discrepancies
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
