    Senior Business Analyst - Erasmuskloof

    Purpose of the job 
    To perform the solution analysis and architecture in order to design, develop/procure, package, release, and maintain/enhance ICT solutions and systems, in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government. This includes the analysis and design required for the development of Solution Architecture and the integration thereof with the other applicable Enterprise Architecture domains (Business Architecture, Information/Data Architecture, Application Architecture, Technology Architecture and Security Architecture) 

    Key Responsibility Area 

    • Manage team/s to ensure effective and efficient operations and that all the resources are utilised optimally. This must be done in accordance with SITA Policy Framework. 
    • Manage, develop and implement Architectural and Governance mechanisms for the Requirements Analysis and Design section to improve interoperability of government systems and quality of services and deliverables. 
    • Manage business analysis and design projects spanning multiple environments to ensure that it is successfully delivered. Manage and model Target Business Solution Specification in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government 
    • Manage and develop business analysis and design work packages for integrated software components, taking into consideration SITAs software development stack and doing this in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government.

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Minimum: 3-year National Diploma / National First Degree in an ICT related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or equivalent qualification. 
    • Experience: 6 - 7 years’ experience with 4 years as a business analyst, business domain/architecture development, requirement management and end-to-end business process modelling including business reengineering.

    Consultant: OD & Change Management

    Purpose of the job 
    To provide organisational development solutions so that SITA has best fit, cost efficient, customer oriented and agile organisation architecture supported by the right competencies, improved leadership capability, employee satisfaction and productivity as well as to implement, manage and support organisational change programmes to achieve overall organisation health in the digital era.

    Key Responsibility Area 

    • Implement, review and monitor the Organisational Development strategy and framework in order to ensure that SITA develop and implement suitable and good practice organisational development and change management interventions, programmes and processes. 
    • Provide technical advice in the development and implementation of organisational design to ensure that the organisation has structured and functional environment. 
    • Conduct work study techniques in the organisation in order to analyse the work methods and the equipment used in performing a job, the design of an optimum work method and the standardisation of proposed work methods hence aiming at increasing work efficiency. 
    • Design, measure and monitor the implementation of job profiling and evaluation process in order to determine the appropriate job level of positions within the organisation. 
    • Role Mapping Compilation and Technical Change Management. 
    • Achieve results through people management. 

    Qualifications and Experience 
    Minimum

    • 3-years National Diploma / Degree in Human Resources/ Industrial Psychology with majors/ specialisation in Organisation Development and Change Management. 

    Experience: 

    • 6 -7 years working experience in Organization Development/ Human Resources Management in a Corporate/ Public Sector Organisation. 
    • Including, experience as a specialist/ practitioner in organization development and change management in an information technology related environment. 

    Technical Competencies Description 

    • Organisational development and behaviour methodologies and tools. Business process re-engineering methodologies and tools. Organisation structure design and/or re-design using best practices. Job profiling methodologies and tools. 
    • Competence assessments tools and processes. 
    • OD diagnostics through behavioral science to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.

    Software Developer (Master Data Management) X2

    Purpose of the job 
    To research, design, install, test and maintain/enhance software systems and write code in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government. 

    Key Responsibility Area 

    • Develop /Design software or customize application for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency using SITAs software development stack / development framework. 
    • Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met. 
    • Maintain the integrated IT software components systems once they are up and running; and 
    • Develop integrated technical service specifications for single or multiple software components to clearly set direction for procuring or building software components. 

    Qualifications and Experience 
    Minimum
    :

    • 3 years National Diploma / Degree in ICT (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or related field. 

    Experience

    • 3 - 5 years’ experience with full software development lifecycle (SLDC), within systems development, implementation and maintenance / enhancements of solutions in the corporate sector organisation. Experience should include the following Oracle technologies: Oracle EDQ, ODI and Oracle SQL. Oracle PL/SQL, Java, HTML, CSS and JavaScript as added advantage. 

    Technical Competencies Description 
    Knowledge of:

    • Computer science concepts including algorithms, data structures, operating systems and databases. 
    • Extensive knowledge of EDQ as a Data Management tool for data quality analysis, analysis, parsing, standardization, matching and merging product. Knowledge of ICT Governance e.g. 
    • COBIT and ITIL. Strong knowledge of software development, frameworks and methodologies (SDLC, Agile etc). 
    • Ability to design/develop and/or interpret test plans. Understand the software requirements for verification and validation of design documentations. 
    • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with system/data integration using ODI.
