    Banqueting Co-ordinator

    Job Purpose

    • To proactively quote, book, coordinate and plan Events, ensuring Guest Satisfaction and Return Business.

    Qualifications

    • Matric / Grade 12.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum 3 years Function or Events Co-ordination experience within the Service / Conference Industry required.
    • Extensive knowledge of Conference & Exhibition Market.
    • Numerical Skills – Manage budgets extremely important
    • Banqueting Operations and Food & Beverage experience would be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of Opera Sales and Catering or other Conference/Banqueting systems is required.
    • Knowledge of Sales Force is an added advantage.
    • Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Must be a team player
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Shift work is an operational requirement

    Main Resposibilites

    • Co-ordinate and organise all external and internal client events and functions.

    • Accurately record information related to functions received from clients onto Function Sheets.
    • Produce and distribute weekly Operational Function Sheets to all relevant Operational Departments.
    • Maintain a high standard of quality and service to clients.
    • Responsible for building and maintaining client relationships.
    • Conduct meetings and site inspections.

    Surveillance Officer

    Job Purpose

    • Protection of company, guests & Casino / Slots gaming operations and assets via CCTV. To comply with Peermont Global Policies and Procedures as well as the Rules and Regulations of the Gaming Board, by making sure that these policies/procedures/rules and regulations are all adhered to by all departments, through constant monitoring

    Qualifications

    • Matric / Grade 12

    Minimum Requirements

    • 2 years Gaming experience will be an added advantage
    • Excellent knowledge in Table games – AR, Poker, Black Jack, Baccarat / Punto Banco
    • Must be PSIRA Grade C registered
    • Must have good administrative skills.
    • Must be a highly motivated person with good communication skills.
    • Must have the ability to work in a team environment.
    • Must have the ability to work under pressure.
    • Must have good interpersonal skills.
    • Must be medically fit.
    • Must be computer literate
    • Must be fluent in English (read, write and speak).
    • Shift work is an operational requirement.

    Accountant

    Job Purpose

    • To control inter-company accounts and manage non gaming revenue and food and beverage cost control to the required standards, and in compliance with all applicable laws and accounting practices.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant Degree in Finance or equivalent

    Minimum Requirements

    • 1-2 years management experience preferably in the Gaming or Hospitality industry.

    Main Resposibilites

    • Keeping abreast with current trends and practices within the area of responsibility and communicate pertinent information to employees.

    • Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase effectiveness and cost saving.

    Job Purpose

    • To supervise and organise the Tables section of the gaming floor to the highest standards of efficiency, guest service and security in accordance with the procedures of the company and gaming laws of the country.

    Security Officer - Gaming

    Job Purpose

    • To ensure the protection of Gaming, Company assets, guests, and staff, in accordance with the Gauteng Gambling Board Rules and Regulations, and Company Policies and Procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Matric (Grade 12) essential.
    • Must have PSIRA – Grade C qualification (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) is a requirement.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Previous Gaming Security/Surveillance experience an added advantage.

    Main Resposibilites

    • To develop awareness of crime prevention, detection and observation.
    • Ensure maximum protection of company, staff and customer property.

    Storeman

    Job Purpose

    • To ensure the physical and theoretical control of all stock items in the Warehouse.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • Grade 12 or N3
    • A diploma in Cost Management would be an added advantage.

    Minimum Requirements

    • 1 to 2 Years Hospitality operational experience would be an added advantage.
    • Computer literacy in Searchlight Transaction Portal is a requirement.

    Main Resposibilites

    • Organization of the entire storage facility.
    • Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy stores/warehouse environment at all times according to Food Consulting Services requirements for audit purposes.
    • Accurate par stock levels are maintained and stock transfer records are updated daily to maintain these par levels.
    • Goods received into the stores correspond to receiving documentation.
    • Responsible for issuing stock on a FIFO system.
    • Responsible for all stock rotation, and reporting on stock which is not moving, and reporting stock which has short expiry dates.
    • Responsible for issuing, picking and packing of stock for delivery to the user departments.
    • Responsible for conducting spot counts on a regular basis
    • Responsible for cyclical stock counts recurring every 10 days to ensure the integrity of the stock
    • Responsible for investigating variances and resolving all stock count disputes.
    • Responsible for all security and control of stock within the stores/warehouse
