Development of Individual Learning programmes
- Conduct assessments for school readiness, general learners with difficulties, concessions/accommodations, emotional and behavioural difficulties etc.
- Make referrals to appropriate therapists or to the multidisciplinary disciplinary team.
- Compilation of individual development and intervention programmes for learners.
Facilitate the school-based support team
- Review learners quarterly to review learners support as per the provision of services by the team.
- Determine all roles of team to ensure that team functions cohesively in the best interest of the learners.
- Compilation and collation of progress reports.
Identification of additional resources to support learners
- Identify potential external resources to support learners if relevant.
- Collaborate with service providers to gain guidance on how to deal with issues that are outside of scope.
