    Groups and Incentives Relief Consultant (BH_G&I_Consultant)

    KEY OUTPUTS:

    • Supervising the responsibilities of assigned team members during the absence of the consultant due to sickness, annual leave, or educational purposes. This entails assuming full management of the consultant's workload, including handling re-quotes, ongoing proposals, operations management and any other related tasks
    • Assisting and developing agent and hosted educational bookings; working closely with the Sales team to ensure these trips are seamless
    • Involvement in implementation of systems and procedures and assisting with testing of systems
    • Stepping in to chase provisional bookings for all the relevant team
    • During the quiet periods, following up on any dead leads
    • Assisting in loading of bookings for consultants during peak booking period
    • Assisting with Small Group Journeys
    • Assisting with the procurement of new suppliers and products to enrich the offerings and creativity of the Groups department
    • May be required to occasionally travel with groups, to assist with operations  

    KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: 

    • In-depth knowledge of the tourism industry, including travel industry channels, current trends, destination management, and customer expectations
    • Good understanding of terms and conditions, markets in which andBeyond operates in, product knowledge, third party and andBeyond Product destinations 
    • Relevant understanding of Business to create and formulate a strategy and make commercial decisions.
    • A passion for delivering service excellence
    • A good knowledge of South Africa, Southern and East Africa with the ability to provide recommendations and assistance preferable 
    • Basic knowledge of crisis management protocols and procedures, including emergency response and risk mitigation strategies.

    Groups and Incentives Travel Specialist (ZN_Groups_TS)

    KEY OUTPUTS:

    • Creative and out of the box planning and designing of Leisure Group itineraries (incentive specific experience advantageous)
    • A good understanding of specific requirements for Groups itineraries including general groups policies
    • Managing the reservations process including qualifying the requirements of the group to ensure can meet their budget
    • Ensuring lead times for responses are met according to standard operating practices
    • Handling of bookings from quote to finalising, including invoicing and travel documents
    • Proactive selling of products and services ensuring the best possible itinerary for the guests
    • Constant, consistent  interaction and clear communication with colleagues, agents, guests and suppliers
    • Upholding the values of &Beyond; Care of the people, Care of land and Care of the wildlife
    • May from time to time be required to travel with a  group or undertake site inspections with agents/guests

    KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

    • Good understanding of delivering excellent service to agents/guests
    • An in-depth knowledge of Tourplan or a similar booking system
    • An in-depth geographical, logistical and product knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania and Kenya required
    • Additional experience in Namibia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique advantageous
    • A willingness and aptitude to learn

    SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Communication skills and an excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
    • Time & desk management including working in an orderly focused manner

    Relief Travel Specialist (ZN_Touring_Relief)

    KEY OUTPUTS:

    • Overseeing relevant teammates desks; while consultant is on leave (be it sick or annual) or on educational – they will be required to step in and handle the consultant’s desk in full, managing requotes and any ongoing proposals.
    • Assisting with brochure quotes
    • Assist and develop agent educational bookings // hosted educational bookings; and work closely with Sales to ensure these trips are seamless.

    Camp Manager (Phinda Mountain Lodge) (ZN_CM_MNT)

    OUTPUTS

    • Prepare welcome and departure notes for guests
    • Check guests in during the day and manage dietaries, children, or any other special requests
    • Implement and follow the BOPs
    • Host guests during the day - meet them back from drive and assist with any request they have
    • Ensure that all products that come into contact with the guest are consistently of the correct standard
    • Check set ups for breakfast, lunch and dinner

    Junior Sous Chef (Phinda Forest_Chef)

    OUTPUTS:

    • Ensure the highest health and hygiene standards are set and adhered to
    • Sound knowledge of correct usage of cleaning chemicals, ensuring adequate cleaning materials available at all times
