    Job Summary

    • The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the restaurant and pool dining operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service, quality, and operational efficiency. This role oversees all aspects of restaurant operations, including floor management, reservations, table planning, staff allocation, and the coordination of special events and functions. The manager is accountable for achieving food and beverage financial objectives by monitoring departmental performance, controlling labour costs, managing budgets, and implementing strategies to improve productivity and profitability.
    • A key aspect of the role is leading and developing the restaurant team through effective recruitment, selection, training, coaching, performance management, and succession planning. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate personnel documentation, supporting payroll administration, managing disciplinary and grievance procedures, conducting performance appraisals, and fostering positive employee relations in collaboration with the Human Resources department. Regular staff briefings, departmental meetings, and ongoing skills development are essential to ensure consistent service standards and employee engagement.

    Skills, Education and Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in serving alcoholic beverages.
    • High school graduate or Diploma in Hospitality Management.
    • Knowledge of the various outlets and cuisine and its service styles.
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience at a full service restaurant as a Supervisor or Captain or similar.
    • Certification in wine, liquor and food handling courses.
    • Fair knowledge of wines, its characteristics and supplies, inclusive of cocktails, spirits, brandies and whisky.
    • Ability to provide legible communication.
    • Ability to compute good mathematical calculations.

    Bastien Head Therapist

     Job Summary

    • The Bastien Head Therapist is responsible for supporting the overall operation and performance of the Pedi: Mani: Cure Studio, ensuring that the highest standards of treatments, guest service, retail, presentation and brand standards are consistently maintained. The Bastien Head Therapist acts as a key link between the BGA team, the Studio and the resort, ensuring effective communication and that the Bastien concept and philosophy are consistently reflected in daily operations.
    • A key responsibility is team support and development. The Bastien Head Therapist assists with team training, mentoring and performance, ensuring that therapists maintain excellent grooming, treatment standards, product knowledge and guest service. They provide guidance to team members, support the integration of new employees and help create a positive and professional working environment.
    • The role also involves being hands-on with treatments and guest service, ensuring that all treatments are performed correctly and consistently according to Bastien standards. The Bastien Head Therapist recommends appropriate products and aftercare to guests, supports retail sales and ensures that treatment areas and product displays are clean, organised and professionally presented.
    • The Bastien Head Therapist supports the commercial and operational performance of the Studio by assisting with daily targets, stock monitoring, product ordering, guest feedback and reporting. They work closely with the relevant management team to identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction, retail performance and overall Studio operations.
    • Strong communication and collaboration with other resort departments are essential to ensure smooth bookings, effective promotion of the Studio and a consistent understanding of the Bastien concept, treatments and products.
    • Overall, the Bastien Head Therapist is expected to be a strong role model and brand ambassador, leading by example and ensuring exceptional treatment quality, guest experience, teamwork and adherence to Bastien standards while representing the brand with professionalism, passion and excellence.

    Key Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Bastien Therapist.
    • Strong knowledge of the Bastien Concept and Philosophy.
    • Excellent treatment and product knowledge.
    • Strong guest service and retail skills.
    • Ability to train, mentor and support fellow therapists.
    • Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
    • High standards of grooming, professionalism and attention to detail.

    Spa Therapist

    Skills, Qualifications and Requirements

    • Certified Beauty Therapy Diploma/Certificate, with a minimum of 1 year of formal Beauty Therapy training from a recognised institution.
    • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience as a Beauty Therapist, preferably within a luxury hotel, resort, day spa or high-end wellness environment.
    • Recognised qualifications in relevant beauty and spa treatments, including facials, body treatments, massage, waxing and other applicable treatments.
    • Previous experience working with a professional skincare or spa brand is advantageous, with ESPA experience or training being highly beneficial.
    • Sound knowledge of professional skincare products, treatment protocols, contraindications and appropriate aftercare recommendations.
    • Ability to conduct thorough client consultations, identify client needs and tailor treatments according to individual requirements.
    • Excellent understanding and application of health, safety, hygiene and sterilisation standards within a professional spa environment.
    • Strong knowledge of luxury guest service standards, with the ability to consistently deliver a personalised and professional five-star experience.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
    • Confident in recommending appropriate treatments, products and packages, with a genuine interest in achieving retail and treatment sales targets.
    • Ability to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and repeat business while maintaining a genuine, guest-focused approach.
    • Professional appearance, excellent grooming standards and a consistently polished presentation in line with luxury hotel and spa requirements.
    • Strong attention to detail, organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage treatment schedules effectively and maintain treatment rooms to the required standards.
    • Ability to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a multidisciplinary spa team.
    • Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and peak operational periods as required by the business.
    • Must demonstrate a professional attitude, reliability, punctuality and a genuine passion for the beauty, wellness and hospitality industry.
    • Commitment to ongoing learning and development, including attending brand, product, treatment and operational training as required.
    • ESPA product knowledge and/or formal ESPA training will be considered an advantage.
    • Knowledge of working within a Forbes Five-Star or other luxury hospitality environment would be advantageous
