    Group Internal Audit Executive

    Job Objectives

    • Overseeing, implementing, and executing requirements as assigned and approved by the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee. (Good understanding of the audit function and purpose and Group roles and reporting dynamics: The Audit function reports independently and directly to the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee and interacts with Business Executives to deliver combined assurance across the Group).
    • Leading and maintaining the Group audit approach, systems, and processes, formulating annual audit plans, and drafting specific plans for various audit requirements and execution. Establishing and obtaining approval for the annual audit plan and coordinating various audit resourcing approaches – internal, outsourced, external etc. to optimise audit and assurance opportunities.
    • Providing input to and managing specialised external audit resources as assigned to specific requests / mandates.
    • Completing various annual audit projects, such as group internal control audits, routine audits of subsidiaries and branches, other special and ad hoc audits. Overseeing team members’ work assignments and the completion of audit work papers and audit reporting.
    • Testing and evaluating the effectiveness and consistency of the internal control systems and control processes of the audited areas and providing audit recommendations for existing findings and areas of concern. Applying the necessary discretion in reporting and escalating high risk areas.
    • Tracking, supervising, and providing feedback on the implementation of improvement plans as monitored in the audit performance report.
    • Assisting in maintaining long-term cooperative relationships with various stakeholders including external audit institutions.
    • Leading the audit team to carry out other audit tasks assigned by the group including special reporting requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit or equivalent.
    • Charted Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
    • ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Certification.

    Experience

    • +8 years’ experience in an Internal Auditor, Total Quality Management, or equivalent capacity with exposure to leading the audit function in a multi-stakeholder portfolio with nationally distributed locations and brand imperatives

    Travel Centre Manager

    Job Objectives

    • Develop, and implement the Travel Centre business plan and align deliverables against the budget, and performance measures.
    • Ensure all the Centre processes are properly managed and ensure continuous improvement across the business
    • Publicise the centre's services and implement marketing strategies to raise the profile of the services, increase sales, and generate more income
    • Control and monitor the centre's budget to make sure targets are met most cost-effectively.
    • Gather information on, and work with, airlines, bus companies, accommodation establishments to grow the business
    • Ensure that staff are kept informed of changes in airlines and bus companies, policies, destinations and offerings
    • Prepare reports for senior management and attend management meetings providing input on the efficient running of the business
    • Source products and services to meet consumer demands for customised travel and sustainable services
    • Manage key accounts with customers who make use of the service offering
    • Ensure that staff and other stakeholders are properly organised and equipped to answer all customer enquiries and needs.
    • Drive continuous improvement by partnering and liaising with travel partners, including airlines and bus companies, to manage bookings and schedules, in advance
    • Deal with customer inquiries and aim to meet their expectations by implementing alternative and innovative ideas for achieving new business
    • Establish a relationship and network with the business leaders in stores thorough understanding of traveling industry and best practice sharing.
    • Ensure the travel centre’ compliance with organisational and legislative governance frameworks and standards.

    Qualifications

    • Degree/ National Diploma / N4 or equivalent in travel & tourism - (essential).
    • Degree Business/marketing/financial management or equivalent - (beneficial).
    • Accredited with IATA certification - ( beneficial)

    Experience

    • + 4 years in managerial and travel-related experience - (essential).
    • + 3 years in sales and customer-service environment – (essential)
    • Solid experience with GDS & BSP - (essential)
    • Experience within the FMCG, retail sector, or similar - (preferred).

    Stock Controller - Randburg

    Job Objectives

    • To accurately receive goods by comparing the goods received with the invoice.
    • To accurately and timeously capture invoices of goods received on the system.
    • Ensure that goods delivered are the goods invoiced and captured in terms of quantities, variants, and conditions.
    • Process all returns to suppliers in compliance with company SOPs.
    • Maintain and ensure that the store room is in an acceptable and orderly condition.
    • Assist in managing and controlling high-risk stock.
    • Pick up discrepancies and report them to the manager.
    • Return all unordered or damaged goods delivered to the store and accurately complete credit notes for non-acceptance in accordance with company policy and SOPs.
    • Very labour intensive- Lifting of heavy boxes and offloading of pallets. 
    • Assist with other duties and departments in accordance with operational requirements

    Experience

    Essential:

    • Atleast 1+ years of relevant working experience within a retail/FMCG store operations environment in a similar role
