    BDR 1 - SAB Polokwane Depot

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
    • Manage and supervise Distributors of assigned sector (orders, payment, re-distribution).

    Training Controller - Prospecton Brewery

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    Initiate the training and development process:

    • Get relevant input for training buckets, this is taking from Team room discussions, ITIF, Annual Training Plan and all other problem solving discussion i.e. 5Why's, abnormality reports, walkabouts
    • Collaborate with People Manager and VPO Manager regarding activities onsite
    • Engage with People Business Partner regarding suitable solutions where the training solution does not exist/not part of the Annual Training Calendar
    • Consolidate departmental training needs by reviewing L&D inputs e.g. PDP as input to the annual LNA / budgeting process

    Prepare for training:

    • Coordinate the logistics of the required training and ensure relevant candidates are present and available
    • Request Purchase Order requests from the L&D Services team for external training as per the signed off LNA
    • Obtain approval from Zone L&D Specialist for costs not included in the LNA Implement the learning process

    Effective use of SOP's:

    • Implement the 8 step SOP process
    • (Execution of the SOP’s are relevant and effective, use the as training aid), track and check whether people are people being trained against SOP, identify gaps in SOP and ensure Line Manager updates the SOP document)
    • Draw on the expertise of SME's to run learning programs
    • Ensure all training completed is captured in Training Bucket and registers are completed
    • Ensure all training registers and events are recorded via L&D Services 
    • Adapt training programme to meet the needs of the team / plant / audience i.e. run 2 day programme over a two week period with short intervals

    Evaluate the effectiveness of training and develop ROI report:

    • Complete the Level 1 evaluations for formal classroom training, analyse the results and develop actions that will improve training effectiveness

    SKAP:

    • Manage SKAP Process

    • Ensures that once SKAP assessments have taken place, candidates and other relevant records are updated, and all administration tasks in support of SKAP are completed. Communicates outcome of SKAP
    • assessment to candidates, and general SKAP statistics to relevant people
    • Ensures that where a candidate has not been declared competent, mechanisms are in place to address this

    Develop Training Material:

    • Interact with the shift team leader, Maintenance Controller and HOD’s to determine training needs
    • Where necessary, develop training material to address specific needs of shift based and engineering teams. Where required, call in additional or  specialized resources to assist in the development of training material. Ensure that training material meets the standards of ABI, and follows the training principles of AB InBev
    • Where training material has been supplied suppliers ensure that it meets the needs of the teams and the standards of AB InBev
    • Where training material has been received from central office, verify that it meets regional needs, adapting if necessary

    Implement Training:

    • Ensure that where training needs to be undertaken, it is done following ABInBev policy and procedure
    • Present training material, calling in additional or specialized resources as required to assist. Check the effectiveness of training material by conducting post-training evaluations
    • Where evaluations indicate the need to refine training material, this must be completed and training material updated

    Training Administration:

    • Custodian of departmental training record, ensuring that these are readily accessible and adhere to all ABInBev and legal requirements. Where training has occurred, updates relevant training records and, where appropriate, the SAP systems
    • Interacts with individuals to resolve problems relating to training records and provides information relating to queries

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Relevant 3-year Technical Diploma

    Regional Logistics Controller

    Key Roles & Responsibilities:
    Cost Leadership

    • Responsible for actual costs in DC’s.
    • Ensure all DC costs are complete and accurate.
    • Manage Balance Sheet entries.
    • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the results including transfer price, VIC/VLC, ZBB and asset booking.
    • Ensure first-time-right postings, avoiding accounting errors and postings of manual journals.
    • Manage DC inventory and capital expenditure (CAPEX), ensuring compliance with booking procedures, onsite management, and reviewing internal process compliance.
    • Ensure asset bookings conform to PRC and IFRS standards, asset management processes align with internal control policies, and relevant processes operate as efficiently as possible.

    Controls and Compliance

    • Serve as the first line of defense and oversee the execution of controls as defined by Internal Control.
    • Ensure that DC assigned controls accurately reflect the reality of the processes, including reviewing the PR-GR cycle and returnable package management.\

    Inventory Management

    • Ensure inventory management compliance of FG’s, RM and Empties.
    • Review quarterly stock counts, perform reconciliations, and ensure differences are posted.
    • Attend quarterly stock counts and review monthly processes.
    • Conduct stock movement analysis and investigate anomalies.
    • Ensure inventory controls are adhered to in all DC’s; conduct CSA audits and support training for DC’s on inventory controls.

    CAPEX Management

    • Ensure capitalization is captured correctly.
    • Validate capitalization in DC’s.
    • Support DC Managers with physical verification of assets.
    • Identify and request impairments.
    • Ensure compliance with ZBB, VLC, and SCO policy.

    Logistics Control Support

    • Ensure stock count SOP’s are understood and training is given to all stakeholders.
    • Share best practice across teams.
    • Monitor DPO vs compliance and ensure DPO requirements are well understood.

    Financial Planning & Analysis

    • Support the Financial Planning and PPM teams on forecasts by providing inputs for LE & 1-year plan.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or CA
    • 2–3+ years’ experience in an industry context

    • 2-3 Years in Laboratory, Brewing or Packaging operation
    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing excellence principles and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, HACCP, GMP).
    • A formal qualification in Quality Management or related certifications is an advantage
    • Proven experience in managing quality systems, audits, and compliance in line with industry standards

    Packaging Process Operator-3

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Operating sub processes of the packaging plant according to the standard operating procedures, supporting the plant control system and verifying that process control is being maintained
    • Assure quality of raw materials by monitoring conformance to company and regional standards and any deviations corrected
    • Preparing plant for start-up by ensuring brand and process changes correctly identified, all inputs are available including utilities, documentation and verified and calibrated equipment is available, and plant is visually inspected for availability to produce and set up in accordance with SOP’s
    • Starting and operating the packaging process by complying with OH+S requirements whilst taking corrective action when deviations occur to prevent non-standard product. Ensuring that non-standard operations are documented and that the Concession/Permit procedures are fully adhered
    • Shutting down the plant in accordance with WI and any deviations recorded
    • Carrying out CIP cleaning, sampling and measuring CIP outputs, external cleaning of plant and work area, and visual cleanliness inspections
    • Controlling inputs usage i.e., stock levels maintained as per region requirements, regular quality checks on stock, usage ratios checked, and all inputs stored in correct demarcated areas
    • Ensuring plant availability via ensuring that scheduled maintenance plans happen, identifying ad hoc maintenance tasks and referring to others to correct, giving on-going assistance to team members to identify root causes of breakdowns, observing required ‘lock-out’ procedures and other OH+S Act requirements
    • Constantly reviewing process performance against target and recording short stops. Where process performance does not meet target, or trends indicate the existence of problems, corrective action must be initiated
    • Recording waste on the appropriate documentation or information systems and reviewing waste trends to identify problems or opportunities timeously
    • Responding rapidly to upstream or downstream triggers that could result in out-of-control process situations
    • Appropriate problem-solving approaches, as detailed in the problem-solving work practice must be followed
    • Performing housekeeping tasks, applying 5s principles and following safe work practices. Unsafe work practices must be identified and corrected
    • Assisting fellow team members in the execution of their tasks
    • Carrying out in-depth cleaning, lubrication and inspection of plant equipment according to the Standard Operating Procedures and/or maintenance schedules
    • Performing autonomous tasks, in accordance with the maintenance schedule, and where required requesting the assistance of an artisan
    • Identify maintenance problems, and report these through to the team leader for resolution
    • Assisting Packaging Artisans in executing running repairs on shift
    • Completing all documentation including job cards, COSWIN notifications and other shift documentation
    • Carrying out the required quality checks/analyses as per standard operating procedures and recording the results on the appropriate information system
    • Constantly reviewing quality performance against targets and conducting trend analysis to identify problems timeously
    • Coaching, mentoring, verifying and transferring knowledge whist providing assistance to fellow team members in the execution of quality checks
    • Where quality problems have occurred, identifying and resolving them using the correct problem-solving approaches
    • Actively participating in shift meetings, asking questions to test understanding and contributing suggestions
    • Using gap lists to record issues, problems and improvement opportunities
    • Understanding the team dashboards and participating in team target review sessions
    • Making use of relevant communication media (e.g., shift logbook) to stay informed and inform others of issues

    Customer Relationship Team Leader

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    Order/Sales Responsibilities:

    • Drive "Today's Volume Today" concept -ensure that cross-sell & up-sell opportunities (Task Execution) are capitalized upon as and when they arise and when it is appropriate to do so

    Transport Price & Claims Analyst-1

    Key Roles and Responsibilities: 

    End-to-End Payments process management ensuring material correctness of Payments 

    • Load schedule retrieval and analysis in line with performance measures i.e. Material correctness and Payment Accuracy 
    • Completion of reconciliations between systems and T1 Supplier submissions (e.g. SAP ECC)

    Key outputs and responsibilities:
    Operational Support:

    • Provide specialist support for coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer of machine operation to shift based teams
    • This will include standby, day shift and when requested after a time frame that standby will need expert advice or support
    • Where requested, assist as a functional expert in problem solving for the plant and support to zone

    DC Logistics Manager - SAB Potchefstroom Depot

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:
    Safety:

    • Ensures a safe and healthy working environment for internal and external stakeholders
    • Ensures that legislative requirements are met in line with the Section 16.2 appointee requirements
    • Maintains a robust system of SIO and SHO generation and close out
    • Quarterly Safety reviews are conducted with the RLM and RSD to identify risk trends and mitigation plans

    Quality:

    • 5S routines and improvement exercises are conducted on a weekly and monthly basis to uphold DC Housekeeping standards
    • Annual Business Descriptions are developed per functional area, taking into account SWOT Analysis and key business imperatives

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Tracks KPI's on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in line with DPO Terms of Reference. Ensures that appropriate problem-solving tools are applied for out-of-range KPI's in line with DPO methodology
    • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring that routines and process are aligned to best-in-class standards through effective benchmarking
    • Engages with HRBP and ensures that the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) document is maintained in line with ongoing operational requirements for staff development

    Service Level:

    • Manages Service Level Agreements (SLA) on a weekly basis with Fleet, Quality and T1 functions
