    Estimator

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage Incoming emails and requests for estimates from customers and team
    • Gather data and analyse requirements from the request form to produce the estimates.  Volumes and target rates to be applied accordingly
    • Decide on best routing option and mode of transports
    • In case of significant volume estimates, this must be escalated to supervisor or manager
    • Input data into share-point
    • Close Co-ordination with operations and clients in terms if rates to ensure accurate output
    • Correct prioritisation of clientele through identification of strategic clients in terms of numbers (eg Top 50)
    • Ensure standard tariffs are adhered to ,any tariff changes must be approved by department managers
    • Engage with service providers eg shipping lines , airlines, transportation companies to obtain pricing
    • Engage with Toll offices and agents in a professional manner
    • Rate negotiation for non- key countries and negotiation for spot rates
    • Every estimate must be checked by yourselves and the supervisor (when required) before issuing to the client
    • Accuracy and all charges must be taken into consideration
    • Focus on following up on estimates done, rates etc and updating estimate register on a daily basis
    • Follow the Estimate Process accordingly

    Business Development Executive

    Overview

    • The purpose of this job is to contribute to the success of the business by effectively initiating and driving incremental sales in a professional, value adding and customer focused manner by:                                                                                                                                                                     
    • Contributing towards both the gross profit and volume targets
    • Identifying prospects, qualifying them and converting them into paying customers
    • Maintaining professionalism, integrity and knowledge of the brand in line with TGF values and ethics
    • Collaborating with internal customers to ensure seamless onboarding, creating mutual value while driving business growth.
    • Ensuring our value proposition is matched with the client’s expectations and service commitments are defined and agreed prior to implementation.   Furthermore detailing such expectations on our SOP and sharing with Operations.
    • Partnering with the Toll network to increase gross profit and volume in key trade lanes

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Excellent customer service and value adding for customers to ensure maximum profitability and satisfaction.
    • Analysing and identifying target clients based on TGF ZA’s Ideal Client Profile, using the following demographics: annual turnover, Industry segment, key trade lanes, proven growth mode, senior management relationships.

    TGF’s Offering & Industry Knowledge:

    • Provide ongoing market feedback, understand our competitive advantage and communication convincingly the benefits of our offering
    • Provide market feedback on product offering and solution design to develop TGF’s offering to stay ahead of the market
    • Meet regularly with Line Management to review Sales Pipeline and Opportunities and identify where TGF’s Offering and Value-Added Services, can be promoted.
