    Intern – Pioneer Marketing, Centurion

    As Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of the marketing function within Pioneer Seed, South Africa.

    You Will Be Part of Growing Team:

    The Pioneer Marketing Team forms part of the Pioneer Commercial Unit and is responsible for all marketing and marketing related activities within the Pioneer Seed, South Africa brand. Activities include (but is not limited to) marketing campaigns (across all media channels), sales campaigns (direct marketing, CRM management and product marketing), events and trade shows, promotional activities, sponsorships, market research, pricing and budget management.

    Your Challenge:

    • Campaign support: aid in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns, in close collaboration with the Marketing team, includes content creation.
    • Assistance in Events: participate in or assist in organizing agricultural events and trade shows.
    • Digital Marketing support: contribute to digital marketing efforts, e.g., email marketing, social media management. Assist in monitoring engagement and analyzing metrics.
    • Market research: conduct research on the agricultural industry, e.g., market trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences. Gather insights into farmers’ needs, challenges, and preferences in different regions.
    • Digital Marketing Platforms: collaborate with digital marketing platforms (including social media platforms, Salesforce, website, apps, etc.) to execute online marketing strategies.
    • Administrative support: providing general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, aiding in the payment process (request purchase orders, process payments, etc.), and assisting with routine tasks to ensure smooth operations.

    Key Stakeholders and Interactions:

    • Marketing team (Marketing Manager and Marketing and Communications Specialist): collaborate closely with the marketing team on all marketing activities throughout the year.
    • Marketing agencies: work together with all agencies on campaign planning, content creating, strategy implementation, promotional campaigns and events planning.
    • Sales team: interact with the Area Managers to understand customer feedback, market demands and sales strategies.
    • Cross-functional teams: collaborate with teams such as finance and operations to ensure marketing strategies align with the broader company objectives.

    Intern – IT, Centurion

    You Will Be Part of Growing Team:

    The IT Service Delivery Intern is responsible for providing a multi-channel IT support experience to Corteva employees. They execute operational IT activities as well as supporting the delivery of local field services teams to meet and exceed our users’ expectations. This includes supporting all local IT infrastructure, supporting the implementation and user adoption of IT systems and solutions and functioning as a super user. They act as project team members for local IT projects. The IT Service Delivery Intern is an active contributor to the Regional IT Operations team..

    Your Challenge:

    • Executing all local IT operational activities: infrastructure, compute, end user computing, telecom etc.
    • Supporting the delivery of the local field services teams.
    • Supporting the implementation of IT systems and projects.
    • Support the implementation of local IT projects.
    • Collaborating with employees to understand employee needs and identifying technology solutions that enhance the employee experiences.

    Intern – Agronomy, Kroonstad

    As an Intern Field Agronomist, you will be responsible for assisting the Field Agronomist for the region and sales representatives in daily agronomic work. The aim is to learn about agronomic practices, products and technologies, complaints and resolutions as well as support for the marketing team.

    As part of the Pannar Team you will be driving collection of agronomic data and technical support to the Field Agronomist and Sales Representatives

    Your Challenge:

    • Assist with the planting of trials for data collecting and marketing support

    Qualifications

    Intern – EH&S Technician - Potchefstroom

    EHS&S intern, who will be based in Scandinavia (35km outside Potchefstroom), is responsible for assisting the Ops Lead with planning, implementing and overseeing company’s employee safety at work. Their main duty is to ensure that the company complies and adheres to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines to reduce work-related injuries. Hence, the main goal will be to ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents on job and off job.
