    Customer Services Administrator-Export

    Job Description    

    • Receiving and processing of incoming export orders.
    • Export sales invoicing.
    • Assist with local sales processing when needed.
    • Expediting orders through internal liaison.
    • Timeous billing of orders
    • Filing of all local sales documentation.
    • Prepare quotations in response to customer enquiries.
    • Ensure the processing and dispatch of customer orders are correct and on time
    • Non-conformance tracking and customer complaints investigation and reporting.
    • Facilitate the resolution of customer queries.
    • Communicate with shipping/logistics/warehousing and supply planning to ensure consistent updates to customers on all aspects of orders.
    • Support continual business improvement.

    Junior Process Controller: Tank Farm Operator

    Job Description    

    • Taking the kevels from the stock tanks, check the tank status and act where it is necessary.
    • Responsible for all product dispatches, including loading, offloading, packaging, drumming, etc.
    • Ensure that unsafe conditions or unsafe acts are identified and rectified / corrected.
    • Assist in controlling formaldehyde production.

    Process Controller

    Job Description    

    • Assist senior process controllers in operating the plant.
    • Prepare the plant for startup
    • Start up a process
    • Monitor and maintain a process
    • Shutdown a process
    • Control and monitor plant and equipment within the scope of authority
    • Take routine and non-routine field readings and diagnose faults affecting plant conditions.
    • Clean and tidy up equipment and the work area
    • Prepare plant for maintenance and reinstate after maintenance is complete
    • Carry out authorized maintenance operations
    • Draw and test samples for quality purposes
    • Run off finished product into bulk tankers, drums, bags or other containers for shipment
    • Receive and off-load raw materials from bulk tankers.

    Job Description    

    • Maintenance of Computer maintenance system
    • Record keeping of Maintenance Schedules, time keeping records and meeting minutes
    • Responsible for administrative function for the IS Engineering support group

    Job Description

    Chemical Operator

    Job Description    

    • Compliance to production plan
    • Effect the product distribution plan for manufacturing
    • Ensure stock accuracy by adhering and improving procedures that impact on product movement
    • Maintain and implement TOC and loss control systems aimed at elimination and prevention of waste with regard to safety and production
    • Liaise with the production plants and exports section to monitor that AECI and customer requirements are met
    • Support continual business improvement and change management
    • Comply with governance and established policies, systems, procedures and practices
    • Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards
    • Conduct routine analysis of the respective product using only the tools & equipment provided
    • Compile test reports and product on log sheets both electronically and hardcopies where applicable.

    • Prepare the required machines and equipment that will be used in the analysis. Verify that the equipment and tools are as per the requirements (serviceable).

    Working conditions

    Work continuous shift

    • Work indoors and outdoors in dusty and all weather conditions involving climbing of stairs, ladders etc.
    • Must carry a two –way radio at all times during his/her remaining in contact with shift supervisor
    • Would be expected to do stand-by
    • Responsible for house keeping

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric with maths and science
    • 1-2 years’ experience in chemical operations
    • Able to fully operate plant

    Job Description    

    • The Reagent Supervisors assists the Vendor Manager (2.6.1 Site Manager):
    • Acting/standing in for the VM in during absence (leave/training)
    • Attending engineering and production meetings
    • Reporting reagents deviations to client
    • Stock Reconciliation
    • Reagents Ordering
    • Decision making
    • Filing and capturing of PODs and invoices for GRVs with stores
    • General office administration (Filing/booking of training dates)

    • Carry Supervisory (2.9.2) duties due to legal appointment:
    • Over-inspections of operator’s inspections and task checklists
    • Conduct PTOs on operators

    • Compilation and submission of operational file (Safety administration)
    • Legally responsible for enforcing MHSA requirements
    • The Reagent Supervisor also assists Reagents Operators with their daily duties, especially in the operator’s absence due to training commitments and leave, namely:
    • Offloading of reagents
    • Mixing of reagents
    • Reagents dosage monitoring
    • Reagents flowrate measurements (Spot-check)
    • Quality control
    • Troubleshooting
    • Data Capturing

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric / Grade 12 / N3 with Mathematics & Science
    • National Diploma – Extractive Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering advantageous
    • Minimum 2 years reagent operator experience
    • Must be computer literate.
