    This role is within RBB: Everyday Banking in Consumer Card Issuing, reporting into Card Issuing Business Optimisation.

    BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
    An exciting role that focuses at optimisation opportunities within the Card business into digital solutions and channels such as Online or App. This specialist role allows a colleague to work independently, with a measure of autonomy, work in a multi- disciplinary team both in business and digital teams. This role will advise business on digital innovation and latest trends in digital platforms to improve efficiencies.     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The high-level duties of the role:

    Key Accountabilities

    Accountability: Analytics

    Analytics accountabilities for the role span both internal and external reporting. The role will support senior internal stakeholders in the CIBT business and the successful applicant will be expected to provide analytic insight based on commercial business understanding to senior stakeholders. Stakeholders include senior management of the CIBT business and the Financial Controller for the CIBT Cluster.

    Specific accountabilities include :

    • Designing, developing and implementing analytical tools which will provide comfort that internal and external reporting is accurate (including scenario analyses to anticipate and challenge reporting results)

    Administrator Estates

    Job Description

    Administrative and operations support and advice: Provide specialist administrative and operations support and advice against standard operating procedures | Ad Hoc duties: Provide support to customers and team as required on an ongoing basis | Compliance and Risk Management: Fulfil all activities in adherence to relevant control and compliance requirements, and quality standards

    Accountability: Administration of deceased estates

    • Outputs to deliver this accountability:

    • Receive completed deceased estate reporting documents from the Fiduciary

    • Consultants and or Lean system and make telephonic contact with the client.

    • Manual intake of estates.

    • Report the deceased estate to all relevant stakeholders via written correspondence, newspaper and Government Gazette (Master of the High Court, SARS, banks, insurance companies, auditors), to obtain Letters of Executorships

    • Obtain final tax assessment from SARS and finalise the deceased estate, by paying out the amount previously reserved in the cash statement for finalisation of the estate.

    • Achieve set target as set out by management at the beginning of the year by taking in the executor's fees within the company norms.

    • Ensure that all post (incoming mail, fax and correspondence) and filing is up to date as per the company norms (three days turnaround time) and report any irregularities (e.g. backlog of filing / post) to management timeously

    • Keep clients updated on progress of the estate by reporting on a monthly basis

    • (telephonically, written correspondence, etc) in a professional manner to ensure that a high standard of customer service is given

    • Maintain a high standard of service during the administration process without any supervision, by providing excellent customer service and immediate attention to client needs

    • Build and maintain a relationship with various stakeholders (i.e. valuators, auctioneers, attorneys, Master of the High Court, South African Revenue Service) by continuously engaging and ensuring satisfactory client service and good relations

    • Ensure that queries do not turn into complaints by addressing these within a period of twenty four hours.

    Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist (6 Months Contract)

    Job Description

    Sourcing and Selection:

    • Contribute to the definition and design of innovative sourcing strategies that will enable the establishment of a diverse pool of talent to meet the evolving needs to the business workforce plan

    • On a regular basis, proactively explore all channels and processes to build diverse pools of talent

    • Implement creative direct to market talent capturing solutions for the Business; i.e. create and maintain a ‘potential candidate’ database, advertising on web based job search sites, e.g. LinkedIn.

    • Conducting research on competitors, building industry networks, attending industry specific events, job fairs, partnering with labour agencies and tapping into global networks

    • Provide support to the Resourcing Lead and Senior Resourcing Consultant in the sourcing and acquisition of P/MP roles.

    • Utilise agencies, talent pools and pipelines, e.g. graduates and learners, Absa Group Limited internal and external databases and other data mining approaches to source candidates

    • Draft direct to market advertisements taking into consideration the recruitment criteria and the current business needs with regards to talent.

    • Act as a representative of the organisation during all engagements with candidates throughout the recruitment process by continuously communicating with all stakeholders

    • Manage the engagement between candidates, hiring managers, HR Business Partners (HRBP’s) from first point of contact until the on-boarding process through continuous feedback to business and candidates

    Resourcing Administration, governance, and on-boarding:

    • Ensure that the application of the Resourcing Policy and process in the business adheres to the Resourcing Policy and process.

    • Ensure that Resourcing Administrator/Officer adheres to pre-employment screening processes prior to offers of employment being issued to employees

    • Review adverse risk assessments and provide recommendations to the Resourcing Lead to approve or decline.

    • Educate hiring managers on the relevance and importance of risk assessments Liaise with Reward when approvals are required on external and internal green zone

     

    Knowledge Sharing:

    • Regularly report on industry developments to ensure knowledge sharing within resourcing team.
