    Deloitte Consulting: Senior Manager - Telecommunication, Media and Technology

    Job Description

    As a Senior Manager, you will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions within the Telecommunication, Media and Technology (TMT) industry. Senior Manager level responsibilities include: providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement. You will be expected to implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance. Senior Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities. You will have the opportunity to lead small engagements or components of large, complex engagements.

    Additional responsibilities will include:

    • Process efficiency & streamlining

    • Operating model redesign & enhancements

    • Performance benchmarking

    • Enterprise cost management

    • Strategic & enterprise regulatory management

    • Profitability and productivity analysis

    Qualification and Experience Required:

    • A minimum of 10 years consulting and/or TMT industry experience,

    • A Bachelor's Degree.

    • Proven experience in leading small engagements or components of large, complex engagements.

    • Ability to lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies.

    • Prior experience providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement.

    • Ability to demonstrate experience in overseeing the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.

    • Experience in developing and presenting proposals for business development activities.

    • The ability to travel up to 80%.

    Main Purpose of Job

    Establishes and maintains strong relationships with the Account Managers and ensures clear, concise and timely communication regarding achievement of objectives as well as potential problem areas

    Job responsibilities:

    •   On-going communication to the relevant Account Manager  relating to market conditions
    •   Providing on going feedback to the Account Manager regarding the status of open jobs
    •   Understand the structure of the Consulting business and its policies and procedures
    •   Source suitable candidates as requested by external clients
    •   Establishes and maintains lasting relationships with your talent pipeline, ensuring continual engagement of candidates
    •   Adopts a philosophy of being a brand ambassador as they are the first Deloitte point of contact with candidates
    •   Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to the recruitment process and the reporting thereof
    •  Takes responsibility and accountability for integrity of system data
    •  Takes responsibility for the achievement of realistic deadlines and ensures push communication around this

    Qualifications
    Related Degree is essential
    Experience required:

    • 2 – 3 years recruitment experience focusing on the sourcing of IT, Supply Chain, Finance and Renewable Energy skills for clients
    •  Ability to source suitable candidates in line with the job specifications submitted by clients by accessing career portals and social media sites and networks
    • General understanding of the basic conditions of employment and the associated risks
    • Strong administration skills / experience with regards to tracking daily recruitment activities
    • Strong candidate relationship management

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    ·       Matric certification is essential

    ·       Related Degree in Human Resources / Technology / Commerce

    Experience required:

    • 3 - 5 years’ recruitment experience focusing on the sourcing of various skills for clients as well as identifying new clients across various industries within a specified focus within the IT sector.

    •  2 years key account management experience focusing on the growth and development of clients within SME’s and large corporates.

    • Strong client development / relationship management skills.

    • In depth job spec qualification experience submitted by clients by accessing career portals and social media sites and personal networks

    • General understanding of the basic conditions of employment and the associated risks

    • Strong administration skills / experience with regards to tracking daily recruitment activities and adhering to policies and procedures.

    • Proposal writing and submissions thereof.
