Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
Perform quality index inspections and process control training in accordance with required procedures.
Reporting and handling of non conformances.
Maintain laboratory equipment in area of responsibility.
Assist in maintaining the Quality and Food Safety Management system (e.g., FSSC).
Perform administrative duties.
Liaise between Quality control department and both other internal customers e.g., Production and Materials departments.
Assist in problem solving.
Actively participate in all MBA activities.
Ensure adherence to housekeeping principles.
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
National Diploma in Food Technology or Microbiology or equivalent qualification.
1-2 years experience in a Manufacturing environment.
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential.
Strong laboratory skills and knowledge
Display knowledge and insight where to obtain information and interpret information relevant to own work area.
Ability to make independent decisions by applying product knowledge in own work area.
Ability to implement controls to ensure the achievement of quality standards.
Strong ability to do problem-solving, fault-finding and knowledge of various problem solving methods.
Computer literacy, preferably MS Office and SAP will be considered advantageous.
Good communication skills, especially in liaising between different departments.

Daily reporting and monitoring of Weekly Production Order output and completion status
Responsible for production order confirmations, bulk verifications and escalation of technical production completions
Creation and monitoring of SAP requisitions and follow-up with Suppliers/Stores on Delivery and effective GR completion
Creation and monitoring of Coupa requisitions and follow-up with Suppliers/Stores on Delivery
Executing effective admin housekeeping by filing documents as well as legal documents
Assist production lines with production order variance tracking
Assist Admin Controller with Adhoc duties
Assist with the compiling and monitoring of the departments reporting
Actively participate in all Mini business activities
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
Matric / Grade 12 or relevant NQF 3 qualifications.
Computer literate in MS Office and knowledge of SAP ERP system
Must be meticulous, accurate and attention to detail is essential
Very good knowledge of Excel (graphs and formulae)
Must be able to work well within a team
Good Communication skills (Inter-Departmental and customer).
Must be able to work overtime when requested
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Accurate and methodical worker
Ability to initiate action without being urged on to do so
