    Chief Diagnostic Radiographer

    Requirements:

    • Senior certificate/Grade 12 or equivalent. Diploma/Degree that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)as a Diagnostic Radiographer as recognised by SAQA.
    • Proof of current registration with HPCSA. Proof of work experience endorsed by employer. Proof of CPD compliance with the HPCSA for 2025/2026.
    • Experience: A minimum of 3 years' appropriate experience after registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Diagnostic Radiographer (Independent Practice) in respect of employees who performed Community Service as required in South Africa.

    Duties:

    • Support the Radiography Manager in order to meet the objective of the department and a provision of a 24-hour radiography service. Perform general Radiography, CT scan, Fluoroscopy, portable/mobile x-rays, theatre and MRI examinations, mammography(where qualifications are as per SAHPRA and HPCSA requirements).
    • Participate in continuous professional development. Manage the sub-component by supervising Radiography junior staff, students and administrators performing relevant administrative functions related to clinical functions as delegated.
    • Ensure efficient and effective control and use of all equipment, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the department. Participate in the quality assurance programmes as required by the Radiation Control Directorate and Department of Health.

    Clinical Psychologist

    Requirements:

    • Appropriate qualification that allows registration with Health Professional of South Africa (HPCSA) as Clinical Psychologist. Registration with HPCSA as Independent Practice. Current proof of registration with the HPCSA.
    • Grade 1: No experience after registration with the HPCSA as Clinical Psychologist in respect of South African qualified employees who performed Community Service, as required in South Africa. 1 year relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as Clinical Psychologist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service as required in South Africa.
    • Grade 2: A minimum of 8 years after registration with the HPCSA as Clinical Psychologist. 9 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as Clinical Psychologist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service as required in South Africa
    • Grade 3: A minimum of 16 years after registration with the HPCSA as Clinical Psychologist. 17 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as Clinical Psychologist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service as required in South Africa Current proof of registration with HPCSA

    Duties:

    • Attend staff groups to discuss ward management issues . Optimize the clinical assessment and diagnostic formulation of complicated psycho-pathological conditions, problems and symptoms.
    • Execute comprehensive psycho-dynamic formulations. Manage and execute psychometric assessments of intelligence, personality, psycho-social development and other psycho-dynamic or diagnostic aspects as indicated. Manage and execute assessment of neuro-cognitive status and optimized neuropsychological deficit.
    • Execute specialized psychotherapeutic treatment programs in liaison with the multi-disciplinary team. Conduct group psychotherapy sessions as scheduled for inpatients. Manage the allocation of in- and outpatient referrals and the optimization of the waiting list. Refer selected patients for specific treatment to professional services outside the hospital.
    • Compile, maintain and report on clinical and staff statistics. Attend and actively participate in the psychology administrative meeting. Supply regular feedback to Senior Clinical Psychologist on the clinical and administrative functioning of the unit. Ensure adequate and efficient administration, in particular: record keeping, submission and compilation of reports, statistics and other relevant documentation.
    • Participate in holistic, multidisciplinary treatment programmes for MCUs within the relevant legislative and ethical prescripts. Provide expert advice to other professionals, both internal and external. Participate in in-service training programmes and the well-being of staff.

    Medical Officer - Pelonomi Hospital

    • Matric. Appropriate qualification that allows for registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner (Independent Practice). Current annual registration with HPCSA.

    • Management of all medical conditions to ensure that a competent service is provided to all patients . Candidates will have to perform commuted overtime duties (compulsory & non-negotiable).
    • Supervise junior staff in order to provide adequate medical care and to train them to be able to do key medical interventions. Consult patients on an outpatient basis to have optimal chronic disease management and good long term follow up.
    • Briefing, informing and counselling patients and where appropriate relatives regarding prevention, treatment operative, complications and rehabilitation. Endeavour to become skilled in resuscitative measures and intensive care treatment to assure survival of critically ill-patients

    • Senior certificate, MBCHB or Equivalent Degree (independent practice) Valid registration with HPCSA as Medical Officer, Proof of current registration with HPCSA (2023/2024). Attach proof of working experiences endorsed by Human Resource.
    • Grade 1: None after registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in respect of South Africa qualified employees.     Duties:

    • Rendering Clinical Services. Be responsible for service delivery within the department. To fulfil the administrative, academic and research requirements of an appointment to the hospital.
    • To supervise pre and post -graduate training and examinations in the department including intermediate training programs. Render outreach and support service to other levels of care. Provide a holistic patient care, inclusive of preventive measures, treatments and rehabilitation.
    • Ensuring correct patient management through the implementation of quality standards, practice and treatment protocols. Ensuring developments, maintenance and updating of clinical procedures. Ensuring effective utilization of all resources in the clinical field within the sphere of functioning. Clinical responsibilities including examine, investigate, diagnose and oversee that treatment of patients in the relevant department.
    • Provide guidance, training evaluation and mentorship of junior medical staff. Participate in community health programs, Assist in the evaluation of existing standards and effectiveness of health care. Adhere to departmental treatment guidelines and policy.
