    Technical Officer

    • To ensure all maintenance duties to be fore filled

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Must be able to prioritise works requests.
    • Responsible for the maintenance work in various fields.
    • Completion of all Administration work related to maintenance and repairs.
    • After hours stand by and call out responsibilities.
    • Will have to within reason assist in general maintenance requirements.
    • Responsible for the maintenance of the air-conditioning systems within the business
    • Generator and sprinkler: weekly tested and daily checks for leaks or anything abnormal
    • Medical vacuum: Daily checks ensuring pumps are running with no leaks detected

    COMPETENCIES (The following will be advantageous)

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    (Educational Qualifications & Experience)

    • Grade 12 Certificate
    • Relevant artisan NQF Level 4 qualification
    • Must be computer literate.
    • Ability to deal with staff within the hospital.
    • Valid drivers licence.
    • The ideal candidate must have the willingness to assume job ownership, work independently and apply principles of continuous improvement.
    • Experience in Air-conditioning
    • Must have at least 3-5 years hands on experience in the field. Experience with chiller systems will be an advantage.
    • Experience within a Hospital environment will be an added advantage.
    • Someone who takes pride in the quality of workmanship and finishes.
    • Sound knowledge in respect of OHASA requirements.

    Professional Nurse - ICU

    • To Provides age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Must be able to practice within your scope of practice as a Registered Nurse.
    • Must have experience in nursing a ventilated patient.
    • Must be competent with the Hospitals Policies and Regulations.
    • Lead and supervise staff.
    • Attend to patient care within the Ward.
    • Attend to patients complaints.

    COMPETENCIES (The following will be advantageous)

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    (Educational Qualifications & Experience)

    • Must be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse with valid APC.
    • Must be ICU trained.
    • Midwifery will serve as an advantage.
    • Must be prepared to do shift work (Night shift / Day Shift)
    • Must be computer literate – MS Word & Excel.

    SKILLS
    (Practical & Technical)

    • Must have excellent telephone skills.
    • Must possess excellent inter-personal skills.
    • Must be able to work independently under minimum supervision.
    • Good interpersonal skills with doctors, patients and colleagues are essential.

    Professional Nurse - Midwife

    • Must be able to provide safe, quality patient care in the ward.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Preferably have two or more years of experience as a Midwife.
    • Must be prepared to do shift-work (Night shift / Day Shift).

    Ward Clerk

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREA

    • Auditing and billing of patient documents at ward level.
    • Stock and equipment control in the ward.
    • Preparation of departmental statistics.
    • Provide administrative service to ward staff.
    • Liaise with patients on all aspects of administration matters.
    • Professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency is always required.
    • Ensure that the correct billing processes are followed in the Hospital from a foundation level of raising a charge to identity weakness and action correct measures.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 Certificate
    • Must be computer literate
    • Preferably have Delta 9 experience
    • Preferably, have hospital admin experience.
    • Ability to deal with members of the public.
    • The ideal candidate must have the willingness to assume job ownership, work independently and apply principles of continuous improvement.
    • Must be prepared to work shifts and Public Holidays.
