    Supervisor: Human Resources

    Requirements:

    • The suitable candidate must have the following qualifications and experience: a relevant three-year degree, National Diploma, or equivalent qualification; eight (8) years’ experience within the Human Resources (HR) function; five (5) years’ experience in SAGE payroll processing (mandatory); and three (3) years’ experience at supervisory level.

    Duties:

    To Partner with the Human Resources Manager and EXCO in delivering the HR value proposition within NCR , which includes the following:

    • Assist the HR Manager with the implementation of the HR business plan and policies.
    • Oversee/take ownership of the operational activities of the HR department
    • Ensure that payroll is administered/processed and managed effectively (full Payroll function)
    • Assist the HR Manager with to implement strategic objectives through business planning
    • Assist the HR Manager in running the “end to end” HR Processes within the Organisation (Employee Wellness.
    • People Management, Change Management, Compensation and Benefits, Job Design and Job Evaluation Recruitment and Training and Development.)
    • Coaching and mentoring of HR Staff members
    • Support the HR Manager to detect, prevent, mitigate and manage HR risks
    • Provide support for Business Continuity plan (BCP)
    • Review and update the departmental risk register.
    • Develop, review and monitor HR related policies, as and when required
    • Implement of recommendations of internal audit and external audit.
    • Submission of all legislative and other reports as per the HR business plan and requests from the Risk and Audit Unit (Drafting of departmental and compliance reports)
    • Assist the HR Manager with managing the HR Budget
    • Procurement of HR related services and contract management of appointed service suppliers
    • Facilitate the internal and external HR Audits
    • Support Senior Labour Relations Specialist at CCMA and Central Bargaining Forum if required
    • Assist the HR Manager with HR related projects

    Manager Compliance (Credit Bureau)

    Requirements:

    • The successful candidate must have a three-year commercial degree, together with relevant experience in a credit data reporting or analysis environment. A minimum of five years’ managerial experience is also required.

     Duties:

    • Responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the department.
    • Reviewing submitted statutory reports.
    • Providing inputs to regulations as and when required.
    • Managing of the departmental budget in alignment with departmental operational objectives.
    • Managing compliance queries from stakeholders.
    • Ensuring that identified non-compliance issues are addressed and also reported to the relevant committees.
    • Compiling and submitting of departmental reports (monthly, quarterly and annually).
    • Managing memorandum of agreement between the NCR and SACRRA on credit reporting.
    • Assess impact of regulations.
    • Managing compliance reviews of bureaus.
    • Developing and implementing of guidelines.

    Supervisor: Complaints

    Requirements:

    • The successful candidate must hold a degree in legal, compliance or equivalent qualification.
    • 5 years’ experience in a regulatory or legal environment, with two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory role.
    • Experience in complaints or dispute resolution process.
    • Experience in debt counselling processes will be an added advantage.

    Duties:

    • Supervision of the operational functions of the Complaints Department.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the team to resolve complaints in line with internal policies and procedures.
    • Implementation of the operational plan of the department
    • Development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
    • Review complaints files recommended for closure by the team.
    • Effectively handle all complex complaints / enquiries referred by NCR’s management.
    • Ensure effective implementation of the complaints management systems.
    • Risk management, Performance Monitoring and Reporting.
    • Monitoring of trends in the credit industry and providing recommendations on interventions to be undertaken by the department.
    • Stakeholder engagements.
    • Providing continuous support and training to staff and stakeholders on matters relating to complaints resolution and the NCA.
