    CIT Administrative Consultant

    Position Detail

    • Understand the role of each team within the department and constantly engage to achieve goals
    • Customer Care: Log all inbound, outbound, and ad hoc events
    • Communications: Proactively engage with merchants regarding ATMs that are out of service
    • Screen and assign all internal and external email/telephone enquiries and requests
    • Manage all customer communications and ensure issues are timeously resolved
    • Manage all related aspects of cardholder transactions disputes
    • Ensure disputes are resolved and reported on within agreed SLAs
    • Ensure sufficient receipt paper is provided to all self-cashed merchants and CIT service providers in time, and within the pre-determined cost brackets
    • Troubleshoot and resolve ATM issues, including hardware & software components
    • Consistently monitor and maintain, and/or improve site and cash centre uptime SLAs
    • Monitor, action, and report on critical sites to ensure best resolution
    • Raise events for matters that require a sit visit or other intervention
    • Practice and facilitate excellent relation building with service providers
    • Adhere to guidelines and protocols regarding 3rd party engagements
    • Ensure constant revision and refining of processes and procedures
    • Follow prescribed channel of communication when making recommendations/escalations
    • Report and follow up on system issues and failures
    • Be available for the cycle shift work on weekends and public holidays

    ATM Performance Consultant

    New Deal Processing:

    • Liaise with potential customers to obtain required documentation.
    • Prepare deal approval pack on all new applications received.
    • Scrutinize new ATM deal applications for final sign off.
    • Ensure all new applications move through the correct channels, are reviewed for approval, and installed within the agreed timeframe.
    • Determine cash flow from bank statements.
    • Follow up on deals that are on hold due to outstanding documentation.
    • Complete the take-on process including the processing of banking details.
    • Continuously follow up on the installation process status to avoid delays.

    Existing Site Performance:

    • Manage early termination requests, competitor installations and change of ownerships.
    • Manage the ATM renewal process from start to completion.
    • Discuss and resolve issues directly with clients.
    • Manage contract changes and ATM conversions.
    • Review inactive ATM sites on a daily basis to determine reasons for inactivity.
    • Manage clients to ensure their inactive ATM becomes active again.
    • Determine and implement appropriate action to improve ATM performance for identified sites.
    • Review month-to-month performance of ATM base
    • Identify ATM sites that require a CRM visit.
    • Submit request for ATM removals where required.

    Administration & Reporting:

    • Compile relevant reports relating to monthly ATM uptime, performance, and branding.
    • General contract administration
    • Documentation and filing of all client correspondence.
    • Escalate issues according to the company and legal procedures.

    Senior Software Engineer - Johannesburg

    Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibilities

    • Develop code based on the specifications provided.
    • Participate in code development by actively writing code and conducting unit testing.
    • Support the QA processes.
    • Work with development team to troubleshoot development environment, production environment, performance tune and optimize code.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
    • Bachelor’s and/ or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field.
    • Knowledge and experience in one (or more) of the following: C# .NET, Java.
    • Knowledge and experience in one (or more) of the following: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
    • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
    • Proven ability to design and develop large scale, complex applications.
    • Ability to work from rudimentary requirements and specifications.

    Software Engineer

    Key Areas of Responsibilities

    • Develop systems to enhance business productivity, improve overall business efficiencies and maximise business profitability
    • Develop new service offerings on Spark terminals, ensure that the network of Spark ATMs maintains maximum uptime and that no ATM transaction fails owing to substandard technology
    • Conceptualize and develop technological innovation that will position Spark ATM Systems to be the leading ATM deployer in Africa
    • Write, modify and improve current and new IT systems
    • Manage and improve ATM monitoring software and systems
    • Observe, test, diagnose and resolve faults in the software
    • Write and test code, and then refine and rewrite as necessary
    • Evaluate and implement ways to incorporate existing or new technologies into the business and product offering
    • Work with other IT specialists both internally and externally
    • Provide regular training to users and other IT personnel on all systems, and provide technical support
    • Provide the company with software code and documentation pertinent to all systems developed
    • Ensure that adequate backups and redundancy is in place for all code and systems
    • Project manage systems projects as needed
    • Be involved with optimal network configuration and improvement
    • Manage and improve system hardware, software, communications and network infrastructure
    • Be available and on standby for production system issues
    • Responding to urgent business issues with relevant urgency
    • Proactively suggest improvements to current processes and systems
    • Serve as a technical expert to achieve the most cost-efficient technology solution across projects within Spark ATM Systems
    • Suggest alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently, with greater flexibility and longer life
    • Achieve excellence in the business by identifying and implementing industry best practice

    PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • National Senior Certificate
    • Relevant IT degree (B.Eng, B.Sc) or equivalent qualification
    • Knowledge of ISO 8583 interchange message specification is beneficial
    • Development experience coding in C++, Python or Golang would be advantageous
    • Web development in Django or JavaScript and database experience with MYSQL would be beneficial
    • 3 years prior experience as an EFT/Switching developer is highly advantageous
    • Prior experience working unsupervised and to deadline​
