    Time and Attendance Clerk - Newcastle / Dundee

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Capture time and attendance data
    • Manage exceptions on the data
    • Weekly reporting
    • Monthly reporting
    • Enrol/terminate employees on time and attendance software
    • Shift scheduling

    Qualifications:

    • 3 years processing experience on Sage Payroll
    • Experience working on Time and attendance software ie. XTime,
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel)
    • Sound knowledge of the Basic conditions of employment act

    Group Environmental Officer - Midrand

    Responsibilities:

    • Implement procedural, reporting and monitoring requirements as prescribed by Environmental Legislation and applicable Regulations.
    • Development and Implementation of Environmental Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Creating environmental awareness amongst employees through toolbox talks, etc.
    • Ensure all environmental impacts are routinely assessed and addressed.
    • Environmental risk assessment and hazard identification.
    • Implementing, maintaining and monitoring an environmental management system based on the operations’ approved Environmental Management Programme.
    • Managing and distribution of pertinent environmental monitoring data.
    • Maintaining a system of reporting environmental incidents and reviewing recommendations to rectify deviations.
    • Updating and maintaining the operations’ environmental aspect register and monitoring management programmes/actions for significant aspects.
    • Direct employees and contractors on how to implement environmental requirements. such as pollution control, waste reduction, best environmental management practices.
    • Conduct regular environmental audits to ensure that environmental requirements are adhered.
    • Ensure effective implementation of recommendations made by External Environmental Auditors.
    • Manage Waste Collection on site and maintain records of waste disposal certificates.
    • Developing action plans for incidents, complaints and audits.
    • Compile reports for water and air quality monitoring and maintain a database of water consumption, and distribution.
    • Effectively interact with clients, officials, contractors, and others.
    • Perform advisory functions to employees at an operational level.
    • Provide support on environmental aspects for applications for rights, permits, authorisations and licences.
    • Ensure accurate submission/reporting of various Environment reports, to statutory/regulatory bodies, as required.
    • Ensure legal compliance of all Environment policies and provide input into policy updates and reviews.
    • Ensure all internal and external audits are carried out to comply with regulatory procedures.
    • To maintain good liaison relationships with stakeholders involved.
    • Prepare service reports for services rendered to the company for environmental services providers.
    • Provide support and guidance to environmental officer on site.
    • Project management for specialists and applications for authorisations and new projects.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Relevant degree or diploma in Environmental Science/ Environmental Management.
    • 3-5 years’ experience in mining/process environment in related field.
    • Professional Registration. (advantage)
    • Computer literacy: MS Office and MS Excel.
    • Presentation and facilitation skills.

    Payroll Administrator - Midrand

    Responsibilities:

    • Reconcile PAYE and produce IRP5 certificates on an annual basis.
    • Management of benefits statements and ensuring that schedules reconcile with benefits statements and payroll schedules.
    • Dealing and Reconciling provident fund and medical aids.
    • Ensure that all employee policies are adhered to and that all legislative requirements are met.
    • Processing of payroll amounts every month i.e. overtime, All allowances.
    • Ensure that staff leave is maintained and processed on ESS.
    • Review and calculate timesheets data and hours worked on Xtime and information received from sites.
    • Preparation of payslips and any requirements around payroll.
    • Assist with information gathering with various HR deliverables (i.e. EE plan reporting, SDL reporting etc).
    • Preparation of salary, bonus and increase schedules and supporting employee letters.
    • Onboarding and exiting employees from the system.
    • Effectively gather and prepare remuneration information for processing.
    • Balancing of Monthly payroll and closing off
    • Run reports every month.
    • Import/Export files.
    • Completing and releasing of UI19's and UIF electronic declarations and UIF TERS.
    • Handling and assisting with daily Payroll queries.
    • Retirements, retrenchments, and the application of tax directives from SARS where applicable.
    • Checking of other payrolls.
    • Preparing periodical reports for COID and RMA.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • 4 years experience in payroll processing, history of working in the Mining or Engineering sector preferable
    • Solid knowledge of payroll and accounting regulations
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software
