    EHS Systems and Digitization Specialist

    EHS Expert, Advocate, Leader and Ambassador

    • Serve as the subject matter expert(data integrity and informed strategic direction guided by factual data set points) and then manage the implementation and ongoing operation of Global and Sector Driven EHS programs.
    • Model and promote an organizational culture that fosters positive EHS behaviours (based on credible EHS accumulated data) and practices through effective design and implementation of programs and campaigns.
    • Participate in workplace activities to raise the quality of EHS input, including RAs, incident investigation and risk management.
    • Provide EHS and technical support for general queries and reports on ESH performance and best practices.
    • Support the EHS Leads with stats reports and detailed analysis weekly, monthly and by function.
    • Work closely with the Sector Systems and Digitisation Lead and ensure that BU stats are accurately captured and reported up.
    • Develop process to govern the reporting cycles to ensure data integrity.

    Results Driven

    • Support the execution of PepsiCo EHS Strategy to deliver sustainable results.
    • Support the implementation of PepsiCo’s Global Management System (GEHSMS) at all levels.
    • Support the implementation of HSE AOP targets for all levels.
    • Analyse EHS data for trends related to Near Misses, Incidents and Injuries.
    • Help with the development of TNA’s based on detailed EHS analysis.
    • Work closely with the Performance and Governance/ Culture and Performance Leads to ensure effectiveness of the implemented interventions
    • Introduce a culture of track and trace every EHS initiative implementation
    • Work closely with Leads to be able to track compliance/effectiveness of each EHS initiative being rolled out
    • Develop systems and digitization KPIs to be tracked at plant level.
    • Report on the aforementioned EHS KPIs monthly on PepsiCo's MyEHS system for the region & ensure reporting of all incidents & NMs according to PepsiCo EHS incidents reporting standard.
    • Effectively manage the myEHS platform in full for both Foods and Bev + Essential/ WECA operations

    Continuous Improvement Focus

    • Assist in the continuous improvement of the hazard identification, Risk Assessment schemes and PepsiCo the organization’s EHS Management System (GEHSMS).
    • Develop and manage the Annual EHS Budget for the BU including CAPEX and OPEX.
    • Investigate opportunities and initiate changes to increase the efficiency of current systems and processes.

    Communication and Capability

    • Act as an information conduit to bring EHS issues to the attention of management and to deliver EHS information to the organization’s staff, contractors and stakeholders.
    • Continually develops effective communication media for communication at all levels of the business through Monthly EHS bulletin, Newsletters, Flyers and notice boards.
    • Gather and report data on EHS performance, compliance, and significant incidents. Keep management apprised of status, trends, and progress compared to goals.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Prefer a candidate with + 2 years of experience in Systems/Digitization, Governance and or working on centralized process management systems.
    • Ability to scrutinize the system to ensure data integrity
    • At least 5 years experience within similar FMCG operations
    • Minimum of a 4 year degree in Safety / Engineering / Environmental or related field
    • Experience in FMCG supply chain is preferred
