    Starke Ayres: Sales Representative (Retail) - Cape Town

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develops joint-business-plans for key customers, customer sales plans for the balance of customers
    • Implements and monitors such strategy on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
    • Consistently achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Maximizes opportunities for closing a sale and drives market penetration, through sound commercial discussion and negotiation.
    • Identifies priority products for his/her area, phased annually, seasonally, and monthly.
    • Ensures that orders are executed correctly and timeously.
    • Contacts customers regularly as per the call cycle, as well as pre-empting and addressing any potential problems swiftly and efficiently.
    • Provides necessary advice and information which will ensure that the products are utilized to their maximum potential.
    • Identifies and/or develops promotion/advertising opportunities in his/her sales area, ensuring a suitable return on investment is achieved.

    • Completes orders clearly and legibly, and with all details as prescribed.

    • Regularly submits feedback, expense claims and any other reports as may be required.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Diploma in Marketing (NQF level 6) (essential)
    • Bcom Marketing Degree (NQF level 7) (preferential)
    • 3 years’ experience as a sales representative, preferably in the agricultural industry
    • Need to be willing to work 2 weeks a month away from home
    • Should be fluent in Afrikaans and English
    • Should be willing to work over weekends

    Triton Express: Operations Supervisor

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Manage inbound freight by:

    • Monitor effective off-loading of LineHaul vehicles.
    • Monitor correct handling of hazardous freight and ensure consignments are dealt with correctly.
    • Ensure that all data and status information is captured and entered into the required system accurately.
    • Compile necessary floor reports.
    • Administration of all incoming manifest.
    • Sign CCL delivery notes and create scan numbers for offloading.
    • Advise warehouse staff of off-loading instructions.
    • Sort waybills into delivery routes. 
    • Monitor LineHaul consignment when off-loading and sorting of freight.
    • Debrief manifests on the Freightware system.

    • Constant monitoring of vehicle loading and floor activity as and when required.

    Maintain Warehouse Operation by:

    • Administer and record retention of operational documentation.
    • Assist with customer queries and special requirements.
    • Assist in handling any zone control problems that may occur.
    • Ensure that all operational information is communicated efficiently.
    • Ensure all maintenance of warehouse equipment is upheld and in good order.
    • Assist in the selection, orientation and training of warehouse staff.
    • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment at all times.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric. (Grade 12)
    • Industry specific experience and background in operations is required.
    • Ability to work unsupervised majority of the time.
    • Computer literate – Good understanding of Freightware or similar management system.
    • A valid driver’s license. (code 10)
    • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
    • Working hours are from 07H00 to 17H00.
    • Ability to work unsociable hours. (Rotational shift work)

    Triton Supply Chain Solutions: Network Administrator

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide first-level IT support to warehouse and office staff across all shifts.
    • Monitor, support, and escalate issues related to WMS and WCS systems.
    • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
    • Troubleshoot network, printer, and system-related issues.
    • Log, update, and resolve IT support tickets efficiently.
    • Liaise with IT staff or external vendors where necessary.
    • Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
    • Ensure minimal downtime and quick response to any IT-related incidents.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum CompTIA A+ certification.

    • Ability to work rotational shifts: 2 weeks day shift / 4 weeks night shift.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Deliveries

    • Assists and supervises the loading of the delivery vehicle.
    • Checks that all goods loaded are in line with the Delivery Notes and signs for acceptance of load.
    • Checks goods when off loading with the customer against the Delivery Note, and ensures that the customer signs the copy of the Delivery Note as Proof of Delivery. (POD’s). Any goods found short must be listed and signed for by the customer.
    • Collects payment from the customer in the event of COD orders.
    • Ensures that all goods delivered are in a clean and saleable condition with regard to packaging, general appearance and neatness.
    • Hands in all P.O.D’s / COD monies to the Depot / Stores / Despatch Supervisor on his return to the Warehouse. 
    • Reports any shortages in POD’s / COD monies immediately to the Depot / Stores / Despatch Supervisor

    Returns

    • Collects returns as listed on a Goods Return Voucher (GRV’s) as and when required to do so.
    • Hands in all goods and GRV’s to the Depot / Stores / Despatch Supervisor on his return to the Warehouse.

    General

    • Carries out daily / weekly checks as per Company’s Vehicle Check List and completes checklist, highlighting any problem areas, before leaving the Warehouse.
    • Maintains the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition at all times.Reports any defects or suspected defects timeously to the Depot / Stores / Despatch Supervisor.
    • Maintains a vehicle delivery schedule, recording times of arrival and departure and ensures this schedule is signed off by customer. 
    • Ensures that he is clean and well groomed at all times, and is courteous and helpful when dealing with customers.
    • Performs any other tasks as directed by the Depot Supervisor.
    • Acts responsibly and professionally at all times, fostering goodwill and a positive image of the Company.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 12 National Senior Certificate
    • Driver License Code 10
    • 2+ Years experience as driver
