What we offer:

• The Level 2 SOC Analyst is responsible for security monitoring and incident response activities within the organization’s Security Operations Center (SOC).
• The SOC services the company as well as third party clients across a range of critical infrastructure and commercial industries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• No less than 3 years experience in managing a SOC within a Managed Security Services Provider environment including hands-on incident response and management.
• In-depth knowledge of security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, etc.
• Strong understanding of threat landscapes, security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and emerging security trends.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g., CIS, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or GIAC certifications are preferred.
• Excellent leadership, team management experience and inter-personal skills

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer/Engineering Sciences and/ or at least 6 years relevant experience as a developer as part of a team in a software development environment
• A strong knowledge of Microsoft web development toolsets is essential.
• 2-3 years relevant experience as an Intermediate developer as part of a team in a software development environment
• Good understanding of the .NET framework and C# language features
• A good understanding of the SDLC process, tools and techniques specifically as applied to software development methodology. 

Skills and Knowledge requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the transport and logistics industry.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a area of specialisation; with experience in supervising others
• Experience working in a medium organization
• Project management and business optimisation experience would be advantageous
• Exposure to managing external vendor/supplier relationships and service level agreements
• The following experience is a must for this position
• A background in System Architecture & Design which includes the creation of highly detailed functional requirements which describe deep functional logic of a system
• A background in database administration

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Conferring with customers, transport engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential equipment requirements used within Public Transport solutions.
• Prepare, implement, and communicate quality assurance plan and requirements to all project stakeholders.
• Ensuring that installation, maintenance, and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications and technical drawings.
• Establishing manufacturing or installation standards or specifications.
• Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
• Prepare specifications for purchasing of equipment and materials.  
• Conduct on-site inspections of all installation activities on regular basis.
• Participates in the selection of contracted staff.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities and provides advice on testing and commissioning procedures and documentation.
• Supervising of training project and client technical team members.
• Estimating material and labour costs for budget preparation.
• Working with a variety of technicians. 

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• Four (4) years of (full-time equivalent) verifiable professional experience in engineering project administration. Experience in the commissioning of Transportation systems will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of applicable standards related to electronic engineering.

• Incorporate the work done by other developers and do whatever is necessary to get the system to work again with the changes, including debugging other people’s code, making changes to test data, etc.
• Provide guidance and assistance to more junior developers to ensure they deliver quality work within the agreed timeframes.
• Provide technical leadership to the development team and other teams within the company.
