    NAIS Occupational Hygiene Technologist

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain strong client relationships and assist with planning occupational hygiene projects.
    • Perform basic project management tasks for larger or multi-site projects.
    • Conduct occupational hygiene monitoring surveys and comprehensive risk assessments.
    • Analyse collected data and compile detailed reports, including site-specific recommendations.
    • Calibrate, prepare, and maintain monitoring equipment and sampling media.
    • Operate within the guidelines of our documented Quality Management System (QMS).
    • Provide technical oversight and support to junior team members as required.

    Requirements

    • Tertiary qualification in the form of a Diploma or a Degree in Occupational Hygiene. 
    • Professional registration with SAIOH as a Registered Occupational Hygiene Technologist (ROHT) or Registered Occupational Hygiene Assistant (ROHA).
    • 1-2 years of experience in the field of occupational hygiene, preferably within an Approved Inspection Authority (AIA).
    • Valid certificate in legal knowledge applicable to occupational hygiene practices.
    • Valid certificate in professional ethics training.
    • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
    • Valid passport.
    • Willingness to travel as required by operational needs.

    Assurecloud Certification Sales Executive, Cape Town

    Key responsibilities: 

    • Identify and engage with prospective clients for certification services, aligning with business growth targets.
    • Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate certification solutions based on client operations and risk profile.
    • Prepare quotations, proposals, and client presentations.
    • Maintain regular client contact and ensure seamless handover to certification and audit teams.
    • Support marketing and promotional activities for certification services.
    • Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline reporting.

    Requirements

    • Tertiary qualification (minimum diploma or degree) in Food Technology, Quality Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or Business Administration.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in implementing and/or auditing management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, FSSC 22000).
    • Experience working in a team environment with exposure to client liaison.
    • Ability to identify and pursue business opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
    • Experience working under pressure and delivering on deadlines.
    • Advantageous: prior experience in a sales or business development role within the certification or compliance sector.
    • Own reliable car and valid drivers licence.
    • Preference will be given to employment equity candidates.
