    Safetycloud Virtual Reality Experience Specialist

    Job Purpose

    • To design, develop, and deliver high-quality Virtual Reality (VR) experiences that enhance SafetyCloud’s learning, training, and compliance solutions. The role combines technical VR development in Unity, creative experience design, client engagement, and project management to ensure world-class immersive learning content.

    Key ResponsibilitiesVR Development & Design

    • Design, develop, and deliver immersive VR experiences using Unity.
    • Create interactive 3D environments aligned to product and client requirements.
    • Conduct testing, optimisation, debugging, and QA across VR devices.

    Project Management

    • Manage VR projects from concept through to deployment.
    • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and delivery milestones.
    • Document development processes, handovers, and specifications for QMS.

    Client Engagement

    • Meet with clients to gather requirements.
    • Present VR concepts, demos, and prototypes.
    • Integrate client feedback into design iterations.

    Collaboration

    • Work closely with Product, Design, Development, and broader SafetyCloud teams.

    Job Requirements
    Qualifications

    • Matric (Grade 12).

    A relevant diploma/tertiary qualification in:

    • Interactive Media
    • Digital Design
    • Multimedia
    • Game Design
    • Computer Science
    • Or a closely related field.

    Experience

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience building VR experiences.
    • Proven hands-on experience using Unity for VR development.
    • A portfolio of completed VR projects is essential.

    Skills

    • Strong proficiency in Unity (VR).
    • Understanding of immersive technologies and 3D environments.
    • Knowledge of VR hardware and optimisation.
    • Strong project management and organisation.
    • Ability to work independently and in teams.
    • Strong communication and client-facing confidence.
    • Creative, detail-oriented, and quality-driven.

    Safetycloud Contact Centre Agent, Durban

    Job Purpose

    • To provide professional, accurate, and timeous assistance to SafetyCloud clients by handling enquiries, managing course bookings, and delivering high-quality customer service that supports SafetyCloud’s training and compliance offerings.
    • This is a remote position based in Durban.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Answer client enquiries via the call centre accurately, professionally, and within required turnaround times.
    • Apply sales techniques during interactions to maximise revenue and encourage course bookings.
    • Log, resolve, and follow up on client queries within defined service levels to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
    • Contact clients to verify details, answer queries, and secure training dates (“lock in” bookings).
    • Follow up on delegates who have not submitted required registration documentation.
    • Reschedule delegates who did not attend their scheduled course.
    • Conduct confirmation calls with clients a few days prior to the course start date.
    • Request re-write and prerequisite exemptions where applicable.

    Job Requirements
    Qualifications

    • Matric (Grade 12)

    Experience

    • 1–2 years’ experience in a customer service or contact centre role.
    • Sales experience or related qualification is advantageous.
    • Experience in a training environment or in occupational health and safety is advantageous.

    Skills & Knowledge

    Safetycloud Junior Graphics Designer

    Job Purpose

    • To support the design and development of creative visual assets across digital and print platforms. The Junior Graphic Designer contributes to projects from concept to completion by creating images, animations, layouts, and multimedia content that communicate SafetySA’s brand message and training objectives effectively. The role ensures all materials adhere to corporate identity (CI) standards and reflect SafetySA’s commitment to safety, quality, and innovation.
    • This position is based in either Durban or Cape Town.

    Key Responsibilities

    Design & Creative Production

    • Conceptualise and design materials for advertisements, social media posts, invitations, brochures, specials, print media, HTML, CSS, and web content.
    • Collaborate with the design and marketing team to brainstorm, develop, and execute creative campaigns.
    • Present innovative branding ideas and conceptualise visual elements based on project requirements.
    • Ensure all artwork is created, formatted, and supplied in correct sizes, colour codes, and file types before submission to press or production facilities.
    • Produce animations and short videos as required to support digital and training initiatives.
    • Maintain consistent visual language and application of SafetySA’s CI across all media outputs.
    • Use feedback from peers and management to improve quality and effectiveness of design outputs.
    • Assist with adapting and rolling out approved concepts to different media formats (print, digital, and web).

    Administration & Coordination

    • Perform general administrative and clerical duties within the marketing and design environment.
    • Update computer databases and ensure all artwork and project assets are correctly filed and backed up.
    • Manage multiple design briefs simultaneously and meet all deadlines.
    • Handle design-related service tickets and requests assigned through internal systems.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to extend concepts and visuals to related materials or campaigns.
    • Coordinate with the Printroom department to ensure artwork is print-ready and aligned with production specifications.
    • Ensure print media is uploaded to appropriate publication channels (e.g., Caxtons) correctly and timeously.
    • Assist in arranging promotional events, branding setups, and other visual communication tasks as required by management.

    Collaboration & Quality Assurance

    • Work closely with senior designers, marketing specialists, and other team members to ensure all creative outputs meet quality standards.
    • Participate in feedback sessions and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
    • Support internal projects by providing creative input and ensuring design consistency across SafetySA’s platforms.
    • Adhere to turnaround times and reporting cycles for design work completion.

    Job Requirements
    Qualification

    • Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
    • Training in digital design, branding, or multimedia advantageous.

    Experience

    • 1–2 years’ experience in a graphic design, digital design, or multimedia environment (internships acceptable).
    • Experience designing for both digital platforms and print media.

    Exposure to:

    • Social media content creation
    • Layout design for both print and digital
    • Short video or animation production
    • Working cross functionally within a design or marketing team

    Skills & Competencies

    Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite:

    • Photoshop
    • Illustrator
    • InDesign
    • After Effects / Premiere Pro (for animations/videos)
    • Basic HTML/CSS layout understanding.
    • Strong understanding of print ready requirements (CMYK/RGB, bleeds, margins, file preparation).
    • Ability to create multimedia content.

    • Strong attention to detail and CI compliance.

    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
