    Junior Account Manager - Advertising

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Client Support & Portfolio Management:

    • Manage a portfolio of small-to-mid-tier role) advertisers/sellers on the Takealot platform.
    • Support AMs and KAMs with administrative and executional tasks across their client portfolios.
    • Conduct regular check-ins with assigned clients to ensure campaign execution aligns with expectations.
    • Gather client objectives, briefs and assets accurately, ensuring timely delivery to internal teams.

    Campaign Administration & Execution:

    • Assist with the creation of campaign cost estimates (CEs), booking forms and invoicing packs.
    • Ensure campaign bookings are loaded accurately into systems and aligned with internal calendars.
    • Coordinate asset collection from clients for design and campaign management teams.
    • Track live campaigns and flag issues, delays or risks to relevant AMs/KAMs.
    • Support in compiling performance reports and packaging insights for client delivery.

    Sales Support & Commercial Operations:

    • Identify upsell opportunities within your smaller portfolio based on performance metrics and product availability.
    • Assist AMs/KAMs in preparing pitch decks, proposals and client documentation.
    • Maintain CRM hygiene, updating client interactions, pipeline data and account progress.
    • Support the team with rate card updates, product education and process improvements.

    Data & Insights:

    • Pull data extracts and basic dashboards for internal and external reporting.
    • Support the development of campaign post-analysis reports (under guidance).
    • Conduct basic research into client categories, competitors and market trends.

    Cross-Functional Coordination:

    • Liaise with creative, analytics, finance, merchandisers and campaign operations teams to ensure smoot execution.
    • Escalate blockers quickly and follow through until resolution.
    • Champion process consistency and high-quality delivery across Retail Media operations.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Diploma or National Certificate in (Marketing, Media, Commerce or Communications preferred).
    • 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, media, advertising, sales support, campaign operations or similar.
    • Strong interest in e-commerce and digital advertising.
    • Experience working with digital campaign tools, analytics dashboards or CRM systems.
    • Exposure to e-commerce, online retail or marketplace environments.

    Key Account Manager - Digital Advertising

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Serve as the primary liaison between internal & external stakeholders, clients and the Takealot Advertising team.
    •  Create advertising proposals to drive strategic objectives.  
    •  Generate campaign cost estimates (CEs) and oversee the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions.
    • Generate regular performance reports, analyse data trends, and provide actionable insights to clients for informed decision-making.
    • Collaborate with various creative, analytics, and campaign management teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with client objectives.
    • Provide actionable, insightful reporting to Advertisers with suggestions for future campaigns.
    •  Achieve and exceed advertising revenue targets.
    •  Identify opportunities to improve the experience of the advertiser.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Advertising or Media, if the Degree/Advanced Diploma qualification requirement isn’t met, 6+ years’ experience in a digital/advertising  account management role in digital marketing, advertising or similar environment with Matric/Diploma.
    • Minimum 5 years Advertising Account Management experience or 3 years Digital  Account Management experience.
    • Experience in Advertising and Media Sales.
    • Strong knowledge of the Digital Advertising & e-commerce landscape.

    Content Strategist

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Design and implement a 360° content strategy to drive business objectives across customer touchpoints.
    • Conduct audience research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviours and tailor content to drive engagement and conversion. 
    • Oversee the end-to-end content production process, ensuring efficiency, quality and brand consistency.
    • Provide strategic input into the creative direction of the brand and ensure all work produced is in line with the brand and campaign theme.

    • Own content experimentation, including A/B tests to optimize format and messaging. 
    • Work closely with Takealot and Mr D teams to align to broader business objectives, across marketing, design, product, partnerships, retail, marketplace, promotions.
    • Keep up to date with competitor developments, industry best practice and global trends and share insights with the team.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Communications/Copywriting/Branding/Marketing/Brand strategy.
    • Computer literacy essential.
    • Creative track record with 5+ years industry experience with a through the line portfolio.
    • Strong understanding of customer engagement and growth strategies

    Inventory Manager

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Manage and ensure that Inventory is well organised and controlled to sufficiently support production and the goals of the business
    • Implement improvement processes and maintain policies and procedures and systems to minimise costs and maximize working capital
    • Ensuring all work areas are clean and tidy and safe for staff to work in (housekeeping)
    • Manage and implement the Company Policies & Procedures within the Inventory department and ensure that they is strictly adhered to

    Your responsibilities can include:

    Project Management & Execution

    Dispatch Clerk

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Ensure correct dispatching of parcels
    • Analyze and clear all production reports, to resolve discrepancies in order to facilitate a flow or throughput of production from replenishment to the confirmation tables
    • To monitor aging task on the system and get them resolved quickly
    • Ensure that all clients meets lead time and fulfilment requirements as set
    • Investigate and resolve customer queries in conjunction with customer services department and other stakeholders
    • Identify parcels that are not packaged correctly and hand them back to outsourced service providers for repacking
    • Physically monitoring of the floor to ensure that SOP is followed on confirmation tables
    • Report challenges that might hamper production throughput timeously
    • Do random quality check on parcel sent to dispatch e.g are items packed correctly, using correct packaging
    • weighing of parcels, and dispatching of parcels as per standard operating procedures and service level agreements
    • Check exception report and provide feedback to all key stakeholders
    • Scan parcels and identify any discrepancies between own information and that of courier company
    • Perform reconciliations of stock take
    • Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices
    • Identify, analyse and report on opportunities for growth, improved efficiencies and achievements
    • Ensure effective customer relations management, making changes where appropriate to continually improve customer service, and addressing any escalated or long-standing problems
    • Maintain accurate records of local deliveries.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Grade 12
    • Any general work experience in which he/she has shown ability to work quickly and accurately; Physically fit and able to work in an extreme environment and pick up heavy loads.
    • FMCG; Warehousing; Forklift driver's license advantageous

    Inbound Operations Coordinator

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Manage the delivery bookings according to stipulated and or required slots
    • Ensure all deliveries are acknowledged and distributed to the receiving tables for unit receipts
    • Ensure that fulfilment SLAs are met for all clients at Inbound
    • Ensure all inbound orders are closed within SLA and exceptions are recorded and reported to the business stakeholders and clients
    • Conduct receiving and put-away audits to ensure that OSPs are following the SOPs and the stock in the DC is not compromised
    • Supporting the department across all required administrative and coordinative functions and duties in line with SOPs, policies, & procedures
    • Supporting customer service in resolving customer order queries
    • Complaints and associated resolution, including route cause analysis
    • Supplier delivery issues & queries
    • Ensuring customers receive their orders on time, according to expectations, and that they are proactively updated and communicated to on the status and any changes to their orders
    • Management of all assigned Inbound queries
    • Processing created purchase orders on time, tracking these orders, and managing suppliers and delivery to ensure stock availability and delivery date
    • Continuous follow-up on all orders to identify unconfirmed and late shipments impacting customer orders
    • Managing IBTs, responding to stock availability & supplier delivery issues and liaising with the distribution centers to ensure customers receive orders on time.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Matric
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications will be advantageous
    • 3 years relevant industry experience
    • Competency in MS Office packages
