    Grade C Security Officer

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Protect employees of the customer, visitors, buildings, & Movable Assets
    • Conduct regular patrolling of property
    • Monitor surveillance equipment
    • Inspect the plant, buildings & movable equipment
    • control access points; permitting entrance & egress
    • Use sounding alarms and other related devices to mobilise for assistance when it is essential
    • Report irregularities inform violators of policy and procedures & restraining trespassers
    • Control traffic by directing drivers
    • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures
    • Ensure that the equipment under own use is in a working condition through preventative maintenance
    • Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
    • Provide excellent customer service
    • Adhere to all company service and operating standards
    • Remain in compliance with local, provincial and national government regulations
    • Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
    • Protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues

    • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a similar security role.
    • Strong observation and communication skills.
    • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
    • Physically fit and able to perform security duties
    • Extensive knowledge and experience in Access Control and Patrolling within a Corporate Environment.

    Operations Administrator – East Region

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Manage invoicing, payment follow-ups, and client portal uploads.
    • Consolidate monthly fuel spend and prepare reconciliations for payroll and clients.
    • Handle petty cash and ensure accurate month-end reconciliations.
    • Maintain and update client contracts, addendums, and registers.
    • Track CCMA cases and liaise with HR and Compliance teams.
    • Support managers with quotations, change notes, and income statement reviews.

    Business Development Manager – Integrated Security Technology Systems

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Design and cost integrated security technology solutions tailored to client needs
    • Lead bid and tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
    • Engage with consultants, developers, and corporate clients to build long-term business relationships
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and new markets
    • Collaborate with internal teams to compile winning bid strategies and proposals
    • Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and terms

    • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement abilities
    • Project management experience with the ability to meet tight deadlines
    • Strong communication, presentation, and proposal writing skills
    • Ability to interpret tender documents and manage bid submissions
    • Proficiency in spreadsheets and documentation tools
    • Initiative, creativity, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with clients and suppliers

    Qualifications    

    • Relevant degree or diploma in engineering, business, or technology (advantageous)
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development or technical sales within the security technology industry
    • Proven track record in securing and managing large-scale projects (R10 million+)
    • Experience meeting annual sales targets of R40 million or more
    • Strong project management background
    • Solid understanding of tender processes and contracting frameworks (e.g., JBCC)
    • Commercial acumen and ability to compile detailed technical and financial proposals
