Requirements:

• Grade 12

Required Experience:

• Administration related work experience within a pathology laboratory environment, Knowledge: Medical Terminology, Knowledge: Meditech system

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath
•  Perform general administrative tasks to ensure in order to ensure that the relevant documentation is accurate and accessible
•  Performing logging related tasks in order to ensure that accurate records and documentation are maintained

• To provide quality customer service to consumers within the legal-ethical framework of the nursing profession in a phlebotomy environment.

Requirements:

Certificate: Nursing, SANC Registration in Relevant Register, Valid South African drivers licence (Code EB)

Required Experience:

• Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word
• Knowledge: National Health Act, Knowledge: Nursing Council Scope of Practice
• Nursing experience within a hospital and/or laboratory environment
•  Phlebotomy experience in a laboratory environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage money/cash flow of depot to facilitate collection of payments for phlebotomy services rendered
• Perform administrative tasks to ensure correct recording and processing of information
•  Perform nursing procedures in order to ensure sufficient delivery of nursing services
•  Perform safety and quality control tasks to ensure that relevant standards are upheld

• Process routine bench work in laboratory in order to ensure efficient processing of specimens
